Easy to assemble and hook up, directions were simple yet not too vague. Installed on a 5500gal above ground saltwater pool. Works like charm! My water is always crystal clear. Definitely recommend, even for folks like me that have no clue what they are doing.
well its early to tell but it runs very smooth and quiet.i have to say im quite impressed with the overall engineering.i put an ample amount of hand torque on the fittings carefully seating as center as i could and pulled the valves with no leaks .thats never happened even with a Hayward.kudos intex.i certainly hope it lasts .very pleased 👏
This is by far the best purchase I have made for the pool. Soft water no harsh chemicals. It operates like a dream. Would buy it again and again. The last smaller model I had for more than 10 years . Well built products.
INTEX QS700 Plus Krystal Clear Saltwater System - Great Saltwater system to add to your above ground pool system. I highly recommend getting this system as it saved a lot of money on pool chemicals. Only had to shock the pool a couple of times. Do ensure your pool is the right size though. Mine was at the maximum limit so it had to run every 4-to-2-hour cycles but still did a good job. Ensure to check the gallons of water your pool has to the amount the system can treat.
works great! salt water chlorine generation is so much better than other options... almost no maintenance
Listing said it was a pool with a pump, but it was just a pump. It was never used because I already have a pump.
The system itself is great. Just hope this pump last longer than the original that came with the pool. That one only lasted two seasons. (12 hrs. A day 5 months per year.) stored in heated garage in the off season. Bearing on the fan side locked up. Buddies same system is 4 years old still going strong, hopefully this one lasts longer than the original. I will say this sand/salt system is far superior to the cartridge filter systems I've had in the past. Longevity experience is the reason for three stars.
i ordered a 15x48 above ground pool and they sent me a salt water filter. Are you kidding? Emails even say "your 15x48 above ground pool is on the way" and "your 15x48 above ground pool has been delivered " here is a photo of delivery.....1ftx1ft box....really.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this purchase. The product was clearly listed and advertised as a complete 15ft x 48in pool set, including everything needed for setup. Instead, I received only a pump—no pool, no liner, no accessories, nothing else. This is not a minor mix-up; it is a complete failure to deliver the item I ordered and paid for. Having to now deal with the hassle of returning and wasting additional time and effort is ridiculous and unacceptable. The listing was misleading, and the fulfillment process appears to have zero quality control. This level of incompetence has turned what should have been a straightforward purchase into a major inconvenience. I expected better from a company selling major backyard items like this. Strongly advise others to double-check their order upon arrival and consider shopping elsewhere for pool equipment.
I have owned six of these units in the last 5 years. None of them have lasted more than 3-4 months. Trying to exercise the warranty is a nightmare. They sent me a replacement part on a brand new unit that took 2 weeks to arrive %26 did not help with the issue. I returned this unit %26 FedEx reported that the label Walmart provided to me had not been processed %26 did not exist in the FedEx system. Walmart would not refund my money but directed me to file a dispute with my credit card company %26 have them refund it.
