We are loving this product! Unboxing to setup required only about 2 hours. The kit includes everything you'll need aside from water, electricity, and chlorine tabs. Time to heat from hose temperature to 102 degrees F was about 24 hours. Assembly instructions were a little hard to follow, and required some flipping back and forth, and there were some leftover mystery parts I was unable to identify in the parts list, but we got through it. I suggest this is more of a two-person (comfortably) spa and not four persons.
This is my 3rd spa. I like how simple they are to operate. I find this new design to be a little difficult to work with. The netting outside needs to be positioned just right to have free access to the inflation valve, and it is hard to get it just right. The SimpleSpa is also lower that the previous design- easier to get in and out of, but you need to slouch some to get submerged once you're in. Bottom pad seems cushier than other versions. New control/motor design is more streamlined and less visible. Lastly, I like to have the heat at 104. This tub seems to struggle to get there. Most often it is at 103. Overall it is a good value in my opinion.
I think this spa is awesome! Its was easy to set up, its sturdy with plenty of room. I love how the jets shoot water from all around the bottom. It has great pressure and it doesn't matter where you sit you get a great water massage! The pump is extremely quite , however it took over 24 hours to heat up the 1st time so just be patient. When we 1st inflated it we thought the bottom needed to be inflated separately or wasnt inflating but it was fine. The bottom is nice and soft and doesn't need to be done separately. We been using it 2 to 3 times a day and just love it.
I've trusted intex before and purchased another hot tub from them again. It’s perfect for 2 people tbh, but sitting cross legged could fit 4. Bottom is very cushioned when sitting and kneeling to get out. The top (inflated bladder) has already been a trampoline and temp dog bed for my 2 pups while zooming the back yard. I will be breaking that habit immediately! overall ez set-up, qucik heating and usage.
It is very nice. The only reason I give it four stars but not five is because the instructions is not very clear. There was only one video of this particular product that I found on YouTube to put this together. Unfortunately the one part that was not shown on the video was the part I missed. I almost took it back because the round rubber I should have attached before screwing the attachments was not done since I did not see that on the video. But later a plumber cane and told me what was not done that was why is was linking. Since we did the right ting , it is perfect! I love it.
Family has enjoyed what little use we've had from it - it was very relaxing! However, we've only had it for 3 weeks, and it's only been set up for 2. We did everything we could think of and it keeps getting straight line failure holes - even where it's supposed to have that protective mesh covering. Pictured is the latest hole, which is on the exterior bottom - and is where the protective mesh is. We have NO idea what has caused it. We swept and sprayed down our concrete porch pad, laid everything out right, it's not close to any sharp surfaces... and yet have our 3rd hole in 2 weeks. Really nice, but definitely going to see about returning. I don't want one that we constantly have to patch and refill.
I purchased this item kept in in my enclosed outdoor patio it started throwing errors and shutting down after 2 months followed instructions then to repair then it started losing all its air when full of water. I would not recommend and since it’s out of its return policy I’m stuck with a broken spa
I ordered this and worked great for several months. Absolutely loved it. Then received the error code. Look at videos in YouTube for E90. Turned off for several days, removed water, put in clean filters. Worked a couple of days, then error out E90 again. Went to search for refund as I have not even had it for 6 months. Only 30 day warranty on walmart.com I am very disappointed. I would like a new one or a refund. Disappointed walmart customer. Disappointed in the Intex pump system.
Do not buy. This is the worst model yet. I have owned several and they have lasted years of well taken care of. This one is junk. The mesh outer lining is a terrible design and the baffle is restricted by the mesh. The mesh on mine ripped at the seams and the baffle leaks horribly.
The hot tub started leaking on the day after we put it up. We went to check the temperature and saw it was leaking. We filled it up 2 more times in a week and it only continued to leak worse. When we took it down, was believe it was leaking around the drain tube. This is the 3rd Intex hot tub we have had and they don't last long.
