Intex Intex Challenger K2 Inflatable 2 Person Kayak

I purchased an Intex Challenger 2-person Kayak on July 3, 2013 (approximately 6 weeks ago) and used it 3 times on the lake. On the third time, the plastic part that fastens the grips to the middle section and the paddle sections broke. This renders the paddle useless as the paddles won't adhere to the middle bar without this tightening mechanism. I called Intex assuming that they would stand behind their product. I was immediately and repeatedly told "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, we don't have any replacement parts/warranty on paddles/have an address to submit a complaint, etc." Basically, they will not replace the part or the paddle, do not allow customers to purchase replacement parts, and aside from being sorry for the inconvenience, don't care that their product lasts for 3 uses. I asked to speak with a manager, the representative said she couldn't transfer me. I asked for an address to send a complaint to, she said they didn't have one. I asked for her name and identifying number, she offered the name Vivian, but did not understand the term "identifying number" or any of the ways in which I tried to explain what I wanted.

Don't do it. Uncomfortable and cuts into your legs. Can't take it back to Walmart so it cost me $28.50 to send it back. I am upset with Walmart and will never buy any thing from Intex again.
