Intrepid 201962 Thinning Shears for Horse

I have a Holsteiner with finer individual hairs but a TON of them. I dislike pulling his mane all the way, as he is by far too sensitive to tolerate the whole thing being pulled, and I had gotten these a long while back. In the past I've tried to use them, but couldn't honestly figure it out, so now that I can use them and it isn't completely baffling, I have a happy horse with a proper mane. Best part was that I was done in about 20 minutes! Great time saving tool and wonderful to keep a sensitive guy happy. I will also add that his mane was very long at the start and that I cleaned it up a touch with a quick pulls here and there, but overall saved me the headache and him the pain.

I bought these to replace a pair of thinning scissors I purchased from SmartPak a few years ago. My old, dull pair work much better than this new model. And with the edges on the finger loops not being rounded and smooth, they hurt your fingers to use them.

These scissors do NOT do the job, they somehow don't cut. No hair comes out when trying to use it. I hope SmartPak will offer better thinning scissors in the future. Wish I could get a credit on my account for the amount I spent on them, since they promptly landed in the garbage.

I bought these thinking that they'll work well, these did not help thinning anything out. They were dull out of the package and did NOT cut or thin through any of the mane. NOT worth buying
