Very strong ladder, easy to install and setup. Bought for my attic

Need more main Screws on Wall Mount.

We ordered the ladder on Walmart.com. The concept is great. It is so much easier and more secure to go up and down this ladder than a typical folding ladder (and being up in age I appreciate that). You can easily hold on to the sides of ladder as you are climbing up; the steps are wide so you have good, secure footing as you go up. The handrail covers were damaged when we removed ladder from shipping carton but seller did send replacement parts. We could not tell if there was further damage, so we decided to install. We thought it was an easy install although it does require at least two people to install. We installed on a 12 inch double wood beam. The additional damage was discovered when we pulled down the ladder. It was easy to pull down, sort of. The first half of the pull down was easy and smooth, but as we got closer to the floor, it was evident there was additional damage which affected the smoothness and ease of the pull down. It is unfortunate the ladder arrived damaged (had there been better Styrofoam packaging then maybe ladder would not have arrived damaged). Great communication from seller in trying to rectify damage--responded to several inquiries within 24 hours or less), but ultimately had to return item. Because the item was eligible to be returned to a Walmart store, the return went smoothly and seamlessly (note, we kept the box and packaging just in case, so we were able to repackage with original materials and in original shipping box). We received our refund quickly. I'd suggest inspecting and starting install upon receipt of ladder, not waiting. Because we purchased during last year's holiday season, we had a longer return window. And while seller was very responsive, with 24 hour or less response time, communication still took a good bit of time as well as time used to receive replacement parts. A 30-day return window could be easily surpassed if a person waits to unpack and start installation. In the interim we had to move onto another project, but will revisit this ladder down the road and probably give it another try.

Not true to size, unstable

This ladder is incredibly heavy--it's not stated anywhere in the description just how heavy it is. It is not suitable for wall mounting except for concrete walls, which is also not stated anywhere. Horribly misleading product
