Intuit TurboTax Deluxe 2017 Federal & State

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and I find it to be extremely thorough and complete. You go through a guided tour that asks you all the pertinent questions, looking for all possible deductions. Easy to file both state and federal returns. Very cost effective.

I started using TurboTax years ago when I realized that the tax service I was going to just copied the previous years info and updated it each year. I figured that "even I" could do that, and save $300+ dollars a year doing it. The first year it took sometime, even using the previous years info like the tax service did. Since then, I keep the records I know I need for the changes and it has become pretty simple. TurboTax knows the tax laws, and the changes each year and ask the questions in a simple form that is easy to understand. If you have more questions, they have online and phone support people ready to help.

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years, and considered changing to a competitor this year to save a couple of bucks. I'm glad I stuck with Turbo Tax. It's intuitive and absolutely easy to install and use. I have complete confidence that my taxes are done right.

Glad that Sam's offered a special discounted price just at the right time. Have loaded the program, it found my last year's program data and was ready to start 2017 taxes. Now I wait on companies to send me the reports I need to start my return. E-file is great and has worked well for years now.

Annually I have used Turbo Tax with good success. I did try other software a few years back and immediately returned to Turbo Tax. I recommend it for those who don't use a tax preparer. Note that I use the CD version and find that the best option.

Every year I shop around a little to find the best deal on this software. This year Sam's Club online seemed to have the best deal with their free delivery and overall pricing. TurboTax has worked well for me for many years now. As my taxes become more complicated I may seek out a professional, but there hasn't been a situation that TurboTax wasn't able to handle yet.

They keep trying to sell you additional service. They will figure one state tax with your federal tax, but want to charge an additional $45 TO FILE IT.

I use Turbo Tax every year and never have any issues. The one thing I have noticed is the extra fees for filing and direct deposit are getting pretty steep. If you can wait a few weeks for your refund check to be mailed, I'd skip the direct deposit option and save the $19.99 fee.

I have been using TurboTax Deluxe for the past 11 tax seasons. I always purchase the product from Sam's Club. I learned the version of TurboTax which Sam's Club sells does not include a free state form for tax year 2017. The Sam's Club price appears to be reasonable at first blush. But you must purchase the state form for an additional $40. This makes the Sam's Club price no cheaper than anywhere else. Very disappointing.

I bought this and expected it to be as last year. I am disappointed. They even charged me with paying an extra $40 to get my state forms. Then wanted an extra $20 to file the state forms. Rip - off !!!! Also it did not work with my Mac (Sierra OS ) stored records from last year, so I had to input everything all over again. I will never use Turbo-tax ever again.
