As stated in another review, it is not plug and play for Windows 7 users BUT it took 60 seconds to download the driver and I was on my way to converting LP's to Digital for us in my MP3 and computer. It is extremely easy to use . . What a blast having all my LP's for use on my work and home computers. This product is F A N T A S T I C ! ! ! Exactly what is needed for the DOO WOP lovers who have the vinyl collections and want to have them for use on the computer!
Really like this product but don't care for the software that came with it. Had to download another product to edit the quality of the recordings. Great value though for what the cost is. Would recommend to anyone wanting an easy to use way to turn vinyl into MP3.
I bought this for my husband since he has a large record collection. He was like a kid in a candy store playing his records. This kept him entertained for hours. This player worked great and sounded great on the computer too! LOVE IT! GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!!
I bought this turntable to play my old vinyl on...not necesarily to convert them to MP3,though I may do that later. This turntable came with appropriate software for MP3 conversion via ITunes.I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this unit, given the $69 price I paid for it at my local Wal-Mart.Also,I was expecting it to be a basic manual turntable and was surprised by the fact that it is actually a semi-automatic turntable..meaning you cue the arm to start play, then at the end of the record, the arm returns to its reat and shuts off.I am using it through a bookshelf stereo system that is about 10 years old and the sound is awesome! Thank you ION Audio and Wal-Mart...I can once again enjoy my vinyl albums from the 1970`s!
This is the best turntable money can buy. If you're looking to play your old records on a turntable and not spend a lot of money this is it. I found several old LP's and was able to put them onto my computer and then onto my ipod.
the product is great.. only problem. .when delivered, the hinge was broken on it to keep lid on player.. the company is great.. getting it replaced..
Everything about this turntable screams that it is cheap, and the pitch (speed) is way off right out of the box, it makes my 33 1/3 Beatles records sound like The Chipmunks and my 45's are just as bad. There is no metal anywhere on this turntable, it's all cheap plastic, even the metallic-looking tonearm is cheap plastic. The stylus (needle) mount is also plastic and very cheaply made, I was afraid of the needle breaking if I played too many records before I took it back. I give it 2 stars for a valiant effort in trying to make a good product (the design looks nice but that's about it), it just fizzles by comparison. I replaced this turntable with the Audio Technica model and I am much more pleased, the speed is correct and the sound quality is excellent for a little more money.
Love the idea but the needle broke within 5 minutes. No replacement needle came with it. Really disappointed.
I bought this to get my vinyl on my pc. Got it home and there are alot of things that have to be downloaded to use this!!! I wanted something simple and easy!!! I took this back and ordered something simple and easy to understand !! If you are looking for easy and simple--don't look at this!!
Straight out of the box. Start/Stop would not work, tonearm would not move, and the safty clip had been removed. Tried playing through home stereo system only got a loud humming sound. Never did get an LP to play. Turntable was hardly moving in 33 speed. I would call this a piece of junk.
