ION Audio Retro Glow Black / Gold - Translucent Bluetooth Cassette Boombox

Yesterday, I felt the need to browse through some of my old cassette tapes, hoping to lift my spirits while I'm ill, by remembering a more carefree time in my life. Then, I thought to myself, "I wish I had a nice old school boom box to play these on". So, my curiosity led me to YouTube, and I discovered several videos hyping up this Ion Retro Boom Box from about 6 years ago. I also saw different variations of it throughout recent years. I enjoyed the reactions of people in my generation (Gen X) so much, that I googled this product. Low and behold, I saw that Walmart was the only retailer that still had it in stock, with a same day delivery option! I rushed to place my order, watched the tracker like a hawk and hoped for the best. I say this because I've had unfortunate issues with Walmart orders in the past. When it was finally delivered to me, I was pleasantly surprised! The box was clean and pristine, and once I opened it, I noticed everything was packed neatly and smelled fresh. I could tell it was spankin' brand new! I acted like a younger version of myself while unpacking it. The little girl inside me had awakened. When I held and examined this beautiful Black %26 Gold machine, it was the first time I'd actually smiled and felt joy in decades! The first cassette tape I played was the late, great, Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock's 1988 album. As soon as, "It Takes 2" came on, I pumped up the Bass and Volume as high as it could go, and traveled back to my favorite era. THE 1980s! As the speaker lights flashed, and the music was bumpin', I WAS ON CLOUD 1989 😁. I envisioned my 11 year old self bobbin' my head and dancing to this old school classic, while my 15 year old Brother (God Rest His Soul) blasted the 45 on his record player. I almost cried thinking about him. ❤️❤️❤️ Anyway, for those who are Gen X, and want something nostalgic to help you get through these awful times we're experiencing in the world today, please consider purchasing this boom box.
