ION Explorer FX High-Power Bluetooth Speaker - with Sound Effects

Love it, handy speaker, I roll it with me wherever I go, inside & outside. I use the bluetooth to play music from my phone or it has a radio function. It's loud enough for me and that's saying something because I don't hear well at all. The microphone is something I only use when being obnoxious but that's cool too.

The ION Explorer FX High Power Bluetooth Speaker is awesome. My adult children loved it more than me lol!!!! Microphone works great, you have to push the button to switch from speaker to microphone to change volume level. Love love the AM/FM radion

We had one of the original Ion Explorer speakers & this one is a really nice upgrade. The battery life is amazing & all the lights & sound FX are an added bonus.

Wasnt expecting this! The sound it gave! I made notice to my neighbors i would have loud music because it was loud im on almost 1/2 acre in the backyard and everyone heard it. In the backyard that is. My neighbors joked next time i say loud music it should be loud. Lol... they couldnt hear it, but the sound in my backyard was amazing! We actually had to turn it down so parents could talk! I love my speaker!

I research several Bluetooth enabled speakers that I could use when I am working in my backyard. There were several negative reviews, but I have not encountered any problems that have been previously been written. This speaker is light enough in weight to be very portable. It is designed and built to be water resistant. There are rubber covers to all ports of entry. The battery has an extremely long life. I have been using this daily for 2 weeks and still have not had to charge it. You do need to review the instructions to make the most of this speaker. Push the volume knob to adjust the microphone, push again to return to the speaker volume. It has a lot of fun features with colors and sound effects and would be great for karaoke. Using my phone and Bluetooth, I can use any app for music on my phone, including Alexa. I can play local music on the phone as well. There is an RCA jack, so you can play non-Bluetooth devices as well. I am completely satisficed with this speaker.

This was purchased to replace an older ION that had a blown speaker. My 10 year old loves the sound effects and microphone (we don't enjoy the sound effects with the same enthusiasm). We downloaded the app which allows level adjustments which was basically required as the default sound of the radio versus the mic volume was not right. You could barely hear the mic over music. We use this out by the pool on a covered patio. So far, the battery life and speaker perform as expected.

I was looking to buy a Bluetooth speaker to take on my balcony when I'm out relaxing with friends and beverages. This is definitely what I needed. My kids even love the different types of sounds you can make on it as well as the mic for karaoke. It has nice volume and bass boost too.

Sounds great. But there is a boost butron that gets confused at times. Push it, bass gets deeper and the volume goes up. So even on 1 its semi loud. Hit the button, the bass goes off and its still loud. But other times, when you 1st turn it on volume setting one you can barely hear it. Just when you hit the boost button it becomes a crap shoot on if setting 1 will still be loud or low. But so far, rebooting it qlways sets volume one to low and i just dont touch the boost button.

Had to return. It would not hold a charge. Only worked when plugged into outlet.

ION it wasnt great as i thought it was the BASS is not heavy enough the extra sound effects are great,thats about all this has overall wouldnt purschase NOW the MONSTER speaker Its BAD everything an more .
