ION Retro Glow Bluetooth Cassette/Radio Boom Box with LED Lights, Translucent, RETROGLOWXUS

When I first saw this unit I wondered how well it would work. I was willing to take a chance for the black Friday price of $79. It is like stepping back in time with a modern twist. It works like an old boom box, but has all the new features of being a Bluetooth speaker. I love having a stereo as part of the experience and a tape player as well. The unit allows you to plug in a thumb drive and a micro SD card to play music off of, which haven't tried but it's a cool feature. The only con that I have experienced so far is that the instructions say that you can't use the unit while charging it, which seems odd. It would be nice if it allowed you to plug it in and continue to use it while it is charging. I haven't explored all of the functions of this unit yet, but I've very happy with the sound and the functions I have used so far. Also, if you're wondering, you can turn off the LED lights around the speakers if that isn't your thing. I was originally planning on taking this to work because I like it and it's a good conversation piece, but now I want to use it at home as well. So I might just have to go buy another one if they go on sale again. Being a child of the 80's, I would definitely recommend it for those of us that love through that era again.

Great boombox. Has everything you'd want and plays tapes. Grabbed a few that are now 24 years old and they play like new. Smooth operation, buttons work and are solid.

I bought this to keep in a classic car bc I did not want to install and wire a radio in the car. I went to a car show and had this In the back seat and the radio got more compliments than the car lol. I do wish it was a bit louder but it's loud enuf . The handle appears to be metal but it's plastic and a bit fragile keep that in mind . Overall I really like the Bluetooth speaker.

Excellent boom box/tape deck. The sound quality is great. The features like being able to use an SD card or USB drive to record from tape to digital are wonderful. Everything works way better than expected. I would buy this again.

Super cute. Love the look and the lights. And it's not very heavy. I only wish the sound quality was a little better. But i bought this for my mom and she loves it. It's perfect for what she wanted.

Love it. Modern features and retro look. Sound is nice. Can record to a micro SD card! Wish it had electronic tuner and that the power button was elsewhere except on the back! Built in rechargeable batteries, but can also use regular batteries. Haven't tried the cassette player yet.

It doesn't have a lot of volume and radio reception either

Nice retro look but with cheap knobs plastic buttons and intenna and cassette box but the lights flash alot and give me a headache The radio is mostly static but when you actually find a station or two it's ga good sound but eventually gets static reception also And it is very limited in picking up stations it waivers whether you get a station or not and the bass sound is good and the treble sound is soso on cheap plastic knobs but the volume does not go up very high but that was okay for sitting it next to the bed or on a desk or for privately on the beach I was very disappointed in the quality for the price but it's mostly just an oversized radio that's solid but made with alot of cheap plastic It's not even worth $25.00 And I paid over$ 70.00 with tax for it I'd be better off buying a Sony Samsung or Bosch and know that it will work properly and last longer I'm taking it back to Walmart soon

I spent time looking for exactly what I wanted in a new stereo but was completely disappointed when I received this boombox. If the seller could have used less tape to secure the box, they would have. I received the box opened on the top, bottom and side. There was zero tape holding the top closed; FedEx was kind enough to use their secondary label to close the top. I also received the boombox with NO packaging inside. So, it was bouncing around inside of the box for the entire trip. Being in the shipping business, I understand the type of box needed to ensure a safe delivery of your product to the end user; this was shipped in its display box. A super thin box intended to display the boombox; not to ship it in. I've never seen less care shown in shipping a box. I was completely disappointed. Save your money and your pain. I had to take this back to Walmart because I couldn't ship it back. If I could have rated them a zero, I would have.
