[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was immediately impressed with this speaker the second I took it out of the box, the texture and rubber grips make this speaker feel and look premium. Connecting to Bluetooth was quick and simple and the sound quality is on point even at max volume. Max volume isnt insane but definitely loud enough you don't want to be right next to it when it's all the way up. Now for the durability, I wanted to see if it would hold up to a big fall so I chucked it about 20ft in the air and let it hit the hard ground. The results: the case cracked (no longer water proof), the logo fell off, and the speaker still sounds amazing. It definitely exceeded my expectations on durability, but don't expect it to remain waterproof after a big drop. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good work/camping/off-roading speaker.

The speaker's rugged, all-weather build with IPX5 water resistance makes it feel well-suited for patios, tailgates, and casual poolside use — it handles splashes or light rain without worry. The heavy-duty rubber corner guards and reinforced carry handle make it easy to transport and give me confidence it won't get nicked up during travel. In terms of sound quality, the Tailgater Tough punches above its weight with a 6.5″ woofer and 2″ tweeter delivering up to around 65 W of power, enough to fill a yard or party space. That said, it doesn't produce deep, booming bass — so if you're into bass-heavy music like EDM or hip-hop, it's decent but not ground-shaking. Vocals and midrange are clear and crisp, and the Bluetooth 5.3 connection stays stable even at a good distance from my phone. Works in all locations. Onboard device charging and it even had a surprise. FM radio too. Which is nice. Not always want to rely on looking at my phone or select music. Sometimes you need your phone and you just want to let it play. Also morning talk shows are good when working in the garage.

The sound was clear (lots of bass) and the set up was exceptionally easy. It got rained on a little but cleaned up easily and it did not affect the sound.

It does not come with adapter to charge but comes with a cord that plugs into one I'm sure you have laying around. Sound is very good, can be quiet or loud and still very clear.

I wanted this speaker for summertime family trips. We have one planned for a week-long vacation to the beach, and I can tell you right now this speaker will be plenty loud enough to hear over the waves coming in. I am very excited to try this out on the beach, but so far it has been an excellent addition around the house especially while working on my cars in the garage. I have used it outside while working on the yard, my son has taken it to job sites, and my other son used it at a bonfire. They are young and hip and really loved it and now want one of their own. It is durably made and seems to hold up to all scenarios well.
