I have a textured dash and suction to glass never worked for long, this mount was recommended on the Ford Focus subreddit. The vents for my car are a weird angle so the vent mount wouldn't work for me. Did some research and iottie is ranked a good brand. The only thing I can see that might break is the springs in the mechanism that snaps closed to grip the phone.

with the new hands free law, and having a 2002 (no bluetooth) car, this was perfect option. the cd will still play with the holder in place and it easily pops in and out, and you can easily adjust the angle to see driving directions

My favorite thing is that the phone doesn't fall out of the holder!!! It's perfect for my jeep wrangler that doesn't give many options for car phone holders

Exactly what i needed. ive tried several different styles of these and non lasted very long or i was contunually reattaching . This one is perfect and ive had no issues at all. i highly recommend.

I bought it on a whim because the one that I had was one of those that had the plastic and it melted in summer this one is actually quite sturdy it doesn't hurt your CD player

have an older vehicle that had a cd player that was not being used..this was my last hope since nothing magnetic, vent, suction cup worked..so far so good and holds steady!

I used this with another attachment I had to hold a 9" notepad. It does great. I also used the cd player recently and the device causes no damage at all to the player. Works great!

Used this to replace a suction mount that had glue. Live in the south %26 after a hot summer glue began dripping down from mount. No bueno. Added this bad boy to my cart %26 haven't looked back. Super easy install, doesn't leave glue on anything, and fairly stable (I don't have a massive phone). It's been doing its job for several months now. Happy with purchase.

Broke already
Placement in CD player was a great idea, but the connecting part that swivels and holds phone, broke on day two. Now it just hangs down where I can't see the phone screen. 👎

It could not hold my phone up without moving everywhere and my phone falling DOWN NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
