IRIS 25 Lbs / 32.5 Qt Airtight Pet Food Storage Container with Removable Casters, Clear/Gray

I bought this large container to store bird seed. It holds 50 pounds of grain - the bird seed comes in a 40 pound bag which makes it perfect for my needs. It has wheels that are great for moving around.

Wow, I have been using the giant sunflower seed plastic box from Sam's Club for years and years and it did the job. But, I couldn't get all 50 lbs in there. When I saw this, I wondered if it could fit all 50; when it arrived, It fit more than 50! Worth every penny and thank you for making this in the USA!

Seems pretty sturdy. Let's u put 30lbs bags in it without dumping. I have a puppy so it's handy to be able to look at the amount to feed him by keeping the bag. It's air tight with rubber Lining so I'm sure it would even work out doors if you wanted it to. Great buy good price

I have purchased different sizes of these Iris storage containers over the past many years. Each one has served me well. This one has a very snug sealing gasket that works great. This 50lb container is sturdy enough that my 2 grand children like to sit on them with no problem. At first, there is a really strong plastic odor when you open them. Throw a little baking soda in them for a day or two to absorb that smell if it bothers you like it did me. Dispose of the baking soda, wipe out containers, and you are ready to go. The wheels are sturdy and easy rolling. I wish they were a bit less expensive, however, spread out over the many years of use the cost is not that bad. Other than dog and cat food I use the various sizes for storing: toys, fabric, packaged people food, and misc. items. Easy to see what is inside, easy to move around and, again, very sturdy.

I bought this to put my laudry detergent powder mix and it's a huge hit! The wheels help me to push it around as I need it. We're a family of 8 and recently switched to mixing the Sam's bag of Foca detergent and the big Sam's Tide with oxy powder box. Both the bag and box of laundry detergent fit perfectly in this container.

Easy to use, keeps food fresh. Doesn't take up as much room as I thought it would!

It isn't quite as sturdy as those made 20 yrs ago but still sturdy enough. i took off a star because though I ordered two, I only received one set of wheels.

I'm happy with my 50 lb Iris food storage container. I'm using it for dog food and my 30 pound bag fits in it with room to spare. I'm sure it would hold 50 pounds if I emptied the bags into the container but I'd rather keep the food in the bag. The wheels roll easily. I doubt it is absolutely airtight like a Lock 'n Lock or other such type container, but I believe it is tight enough for most purposes, including keeping out insects. The lid latches down, which is good, but I suspect a determined dog could get into it pretty easily. (I used to have a food stealing dog that could open a door by turning the knob and I'm sure he would have been able to get into this without much trouble.)

The container showed up without the castors. Do not recommend purchasing this online unless you want to drive to Walmart to return it. The lid quality wasn't that great either, slightly damaged.
