It easily snaps closed and the design makes it easy to carry which is great when it is packed with some heavier things. The plastic is thick and sturdy and it easily stacks on our other plastic bins. It's great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these totes. They are strong and durable. Much more durable than a regular tote. I use them to store the decorations and other odds and ends. The totes are huge! I was able to empty out 5 cardboard boxes and have it all fit into one tote and I still had a bit of wiggle room if I needed it. They do get a bit heavy when they are packed full but that's to be expected. They stack very nicely. The bottom of the tote fits perfectly into the grooves of the lid so there's no leaning or wobbling. The totes do not bend or squish while they are stacked. These have become my favorite storage tote. Highly recommend.

It made my closet so organized and I like that its not heavy to move. It is quite big but that is good if you want to store a lot of stuff inside the tote. The lid snaps really good and doesn't fall off or anything. I like that it keeps all my stuff in one place because it is big enough to fit a lot of stuff inside. I am using it inside right now but I think this would also be perfect for someone that wants to store stuff outside. I think it is sturdy enough to withstand any weather conditions and like I said the lid snaps so good no water or anything would get through to destroy anything inside. I really liked this tote and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a big sturdy tote.

These boxes are heavy duty, easy to stack, easy to carry, the lids snap shut and stay shut. I am a very organized person, so I hate having cardboard boxes everywhere, these boxes make my storage unit clutter free. I would absolutely purchase them again and recommend them to others who need nice, sturdy long term storage solutions!

No cracked corners or broken sides. The material for this tote is a very heavy duty plastic. It's not to heavy ( when empty ), and the handles are easy to grasp and hold. The lid is easy to remove and easy to put back on. It snaps well into place. I had some holiday decorations that needed a tote, and with the size of this bin I was able to fit everything in. The holes around the lid and bottom are nice. I'm guessing I could clip/zip tie it closed, especially if I needed to transport items, and wanted to make sure the lid is extra secure. I've had many Iris totes, all have been great, but this one is extra heavy duty, and is the nicest out of them all. Definitely a tote that will last many years!

Most of the container lids usually end up cracks or broken. These containers holding up great, as kids have uses them for toys and throw the lids on the floor many times. Deep lids make it easy to store in little space. Two of them have been used for food storage and one for kid's toys. 20 pounds of rice and flour bags store easily with other food items. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Iris 27 Gallon Heavy-Duty Storage Bins are useful for storing larger or heavier items. The plastic bins are a lot larger than I expected and difficult to carry myself due to the width of the box in comparison to my arm length. They are also a bit heavier than the normal plastic tote, which also makes them a bit more sturdy. The plastic is thick and not flimsy. I was surprised how extra durable the lid was in comparison to the rest of the tote.. The lid is a little bit larger than the bottom to make room for latching; Due to the size and weight, I think these are best for long term storage and items that don't need to be moved around often. I like that they are opaque as there are some things that I don't want to be visible from the outside or for sunlight to shine on them. They stack really well and have holes that allow for a lock or bungee cord. There was no noticeable smell so I would feel comfortable storing pantry essentials and clothing in these bins. These are great for storing gardening tools, power tools and various kitchen appliances that are not often used. A good storage option if you are in need of large storage totes that are durable and can hold a lot but won't be moved around a lot.
