IRIS 53 Qt. Plastic Storage Bin with Lid, Stackable Storage Containers, Tote

Using this for my Operation Christmas Child boxes. Insert a bandana for color them fill. Box is study and open and closes easily. These containers can be used for numerous storage options. Latching lids make for a firm closure. It a good size for show storage.

I really like this box and that the plastic is very thick and nice. I do not know if it is 5 qt. but I do know that it is on the out side 14 inch long, 73/4 inch wide and 4 inch deep ( the inside is 12 inch long, 7 3/8 wide and 3 3/4 inch deep ). It has really nice black thick hands and a really tight seal ( I do not know if it is water tight I have not tried it yet, sorry. I hope this help make up your mind. Thank You.

For whatever reason, this size of Iris container cannot be shipped without getting damaged. Same whether you order from Walmart, Target or Amazon. Have purchased larger %26 smaller size bins without any issue. First ordered a four-pack, three were damaged when received. When the replacement order arrived, two of three were damaged.

These containers are a good value for money. I use this size exclusively to pack away books. Clear containers let you see which books are in which containers. Thank you, WalMart.

These are great totes for food storage. The only problem was that out of six totes, one was broken and two lids were broken. I called Walmart about it and was told they came from a third party, but they would look into it for me. They refunded to money for the broken parts, but what I needed was the totes. I had hoped I could take them to my local store and get replacements, but was told no.

I will definitely purchase again if I see them on sale. They're perfect for organizing. And because they're clear I can mark on the inside with a 3 x 5 card. What's in the box and they're stackable help me organize even more. When will they go on sale again.

I like the product. The problem is the bottom container was broken during handling or shipping. Unlike Amazon, Walmart makes returns/exchanges hard. I had to call to find out how to return. They promised to send a return shipping label, and it never happened.

The worst purchase I've made in a long time. The bins and lids arrived cracked into shards of plastic, loose in a box marked "fragile" that had no extra packing material. If the bins couldn't even survive shipping, they're probably useless for storage, too.

One of the latching handles had fallen off during shipping---I was able to reinstall but this container is VERY cheaply made---on the other hand it was around $ 7.00 so I didn't expect much-----if this a container you're simply using for storage %26 you won't be opening/closing on a regular basis you MIGHT be ok----other wise spend more %26 get a container that is "sturdy"...

Cookie tins are expensive. I find that my cookie stash stays fresher a heck of a lot longer in these airtight containers.
