IRIS 60 Qt. Plastic Storage Bins with Sealed Lids, Clear Gasket Box, Airtight Containers 4Pk

We just moved to Florida and we needed good sturdy storage that had the ability to keep moisture out to prevent mold/mildew with the humidity. They work great, and I was able to get my belongings in them safely.

Wonderful boxes! I have re-ordered them many times. Sometimes they arrive with corner plastic cracked, but it doesn't subtract from their effectiveness. They are short enough to fit under a bed and versatile enough to be weatherproof outside. They stack well and there are 6 latches per box so even if one cracks or gets lost (which hasn't happened, actually), it should still work well. You technically "can" fit two of them lengthwise on a 48x72x18 rack, but they will have to be at an angle so it's not ideal. Otherwise I have no complaints.

These appear identical to the 60 QT Ziploc brand weathertight storage containers that I bought 5 years ago, and love. I originally got these to store off-season clothing in a very drafty/leaky dirty outdoor tool shed. They successfully protected my clothing from the dampness and wet, and kept them clean and dry. I'm still using them, for indoor storage now, and they are in perfect condition. Placing these new ones next to the classic, I see no difference in their construction, and sturdiness. The seal and latches are also what I was expecting. This order was worth the search, and the wait for their delivery. Photos: Stacked boxes, bin on the bottom is Ziploc original. I purchased these containers once before, and they served me well. I have never had a problem with them, and they are everything I wanted. Expensive, yes. But sometimes you have to pay a bit more to get quality. I would have given this purchase (8 containers) five stars except that one of the lids was damaged. Since the lids are packaged in a stack, and the one in question was sandwiched between others, the damage had to occur before shipping. I'm not returning the lid or complete container because it is still serviceable. However, for the price, $30 each, I think quality control should have caught the damage before shipping. Anyway, The quality of 'unbroken' containers is five stars! The nature of the breakage indicates that the plastic is less durable than I first thought. A couple of the lid's inside structures were 'snapped' off from some impact. Just be aware that they are not invulnerable. Treat them like china if you want them to last a lifetime.

These are great storage bins with one irritating exception. I ordered 4 boxes of these bins and every single box had one bin that was broken with plastic pieces in the box and two blue latches broken off. Not acceptable.

The containers were great. Many latches to keep air tight. They are 5 stars, one star removed because two containers were damaged in shipping because there is no packing material to protect them. Replacement order had one damaged that I swapped from first order. To send back you must go to FED X which is very inconvenient as I pass a Walmart on the way. Too much work for a return so another star removed.

I love these totes but they don't ship well because they are just in a box with no cushioning. I had to return my first order due to multiple pieces being broken off of the totes and lids. The replacement order has on piece broken off but it is not in a spot that would matter.

One of the totes came damaged. The handle and latch/clip are broken. Cannot return to a store and not sure if it's worth the hassle of returning by mail for replacement (have to return all 4 totes) and getting another damaged set. Maybe I should have ordered them from Amazon.

these are light duty. seal and work well if you don't use them much. I use them camping and the handles fall off and they crack easy.

I ordered 2 boxes of 4 containers each. One box was fine and the other came with 3 broken lids and one broken bin. I am following the instructions to return them however they will not send out the replacements until they receive the damaged ones. Another long wait.
