This is exactly what we needed for the important papers but not the critical ones that should be in fire safe containers.

I use these bins to store the materials for a grade from year to year. I can put in hanging file folders for the worksheets and have enough space to put all the books for the year. Great for keeping our family organized.

This works as expected, definitely a nice alternative to heavy file cabinets.

The 4 pack was shipped directly from the manufacturer and arrived undamaged, clean and ready to use. I'm planning to use them to store extra clothing for car trips and selected this size for available space in the vehicle. They are up to the task of storing files or clothing, but not heavy enough to store auto parts, for example, so don't! The handles are not big enough to get a grip on with much weight in the box too, though bigger handles would take up more space inside the box and cut down on capacity. The description says letter file box, and they do have a slot on each side for hanging folders. Overall I'm satisfied that they will be sturdy enough, though the lid is still an open question. It takes two hands to flip the lid back down so I'm not sure if anything is gained by having it hinged in the middle you will still have to fuss with it a bit to get something out and closed back up, not open the lid with one hand and place item in with the other, then close with one hand. I think I would prefer a solid lid, but it's not a deal breaker with the lid that opens on a hinge up to 90 degrees. Overall it's recommended!

I looked at the major office supply stores for a new file box to replace mine that's warped over the last 10 years. This box was half the price and just as nice as the others ones I looked at. Got it in 3 days. Lid opens in half which is nice if you just need only a section of the box.

They would be great if they arrived unbroken. Still waiting for replacements

I ordered the 4 pack of plastic bins and when they arrived, 2 of the 4 had a big crack in the side of the plastic.
