I have gone through more vacuums than I can count. I thought that my commercial vacuum was pretty good and got up most if not all of the dust, dirt, and pet hair from my carpet, boy was I wrong! I'll admit that I don't vacuum for 45 minutes straight but what Roomba picks up after I vacuum is, well, kind of embarrassing. I have programmed Yeah baby! to vacuum everyday of the week and I'll run it through an additional cycyle on the weekends. It is worth every cent!

I previously owned a different brand and it only lasted 1 year before I had to replace the battery, then that battery only lasted 6 months. So I bit the bullet and purchased a 860 model. LOVE it LOVE it LOVE it. The only thing I wish is an extra side brush would have been included. But that is OK I still LOVE my Hazel.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and find that i was accumulating animal hair much faster than I could keep up on the vacuuming. I have my Roomba scheduled to clean every other day and I will use it more often if needed by just hitting the clean button. The suction power is pretty amazing for such a small thing. It is important to have things like small toys and shoelaces out of the way before cleaning because they will get sucked up too. Thankfully, if my Roomba does suck up anything that clogs it anywhere it will stop. It is important to keep up with the maintenance of cleaning if you want it to last long and to do a good job cleaning. Cleaning is not a difficult task at all and once you get it down to a science, it goes by very quickly. I am so happy that I finally purchased a Roomba and would always recommend it to anyone debating on whether or not to get one!

I can't believe I waited so long to get one. With 3 cats, if I didn't vacuum at least 3x per week, the hair build up was evident. I have one cat that sheds a lot. I planned to vacuum first and then start using Roomba, but I decided not to. The first couple of runs the bin filled up quickly and I cleaned the bottom to remove any hair build up. Now I simply run it every morning and I can't believe how clean the floors stay. When it's recharging, I still clean the bin and tap the filter even though it's not even half full. My cats are fascinated and a little scared at the same time, but they'll get used to it. Frankly, I think I'll see less hair balls too since the floors are so clean. I'll only need to use my vacuum's attachments in the tight places from time to time. As I said, I can't believe I waited so long.

We received Bot as a present for Christmas. We vacuum twice a day due to having a retriever who sheds ALOT! This roomba does a 4 star job with the dog fur... the bigger hair lumps tend to get left behind, but those are easy to vacuum up myself to help Bot out. Overall very impressed... couldn't imagine our lives without it now!

I only have my I Robot for two weeks but so far its on a daily schedule and picks up massive amounts of pet hair. I have a part Main Coon cat that has long hair and is currently shedding. No matter how much we brush her She still leaves fur tumbleweeds behind. This product gets the job done.It does seem to like to get into corners that are a challenge to get out of & repeat that same area a few times. Not sure if it is learning to get the best way through but it does do an excellent job!

This gizmo has freed up so much of my time. I love working out in the yard knowing that "Alice" is inside cleaning at the same time. I used to come home after a hard day's work, look at my dog-hair floors and think 'more work to do'. Now I come home, look around and think 'what a nice clean house!'. I love "Alice" to bits :-)

I love my Roomba,It cleans very well, but it tends to get stuck under low hanging furniture pieces, like under the bed.It frees me from v the chore of vacuuming.I only used my upright vacuum once since purchasing Roomba. If I was financially able, I would purchase this item for all of my family as gifts.

Great product. I love it!! I have a Lab and she is a shedder. My Roomba runs every other day and I only get my upright vacuum out once a month to suck up the hair that the Roomba can't get to. I have recommended this product to all my friends, especially the dog owners!!!
