iRobot® Roomba Combo™ J7+ Robot Vacuum and Mop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, you think you want a robot vacuum cleaner? Well let me tell you about this one. The hardest part will be coming up with a name. We had a Roomba already before this guy and his name was Robby. He did a pretty good job of keeping the dust from piling up under the couch but he wasn't the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree when going to dock. Fast forward to today. Robby Too apparently received all the nutrients in the womb because he knows what's going on. This guy not only vacuums but he mops behind him. He knows to avoid items on the floor where his older sibling would just run them over and then get all tangled up. Just be prepared for the nose the first time he docks because it sounds like he's going to take off. In reality, the dock is sucking all the dust and debris out of the dust cup and into a bag inside the dock. This thing is pretty amazing. It has an app the you're able to control him and even locate where he may be in case he gets lost. Robby Too has a new forever home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously we used a vacuum robot and a mopping robot, but with this unit, we can use only one device. We oned multiple irobot devices, and this is definitely our favorite. The only disadvantage is that it is loud when it starts emptying itself. Is it noisy when You start vacuuming? No, not really. Dyson sounds the same. Perfect scheduling and ability to use GPS fence. So it will start working only if you leave your house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] iRobot Roomba Combo™ j7+ Robot Vacuum and Mop is a game changer!! Very quiet. I run the Roomba on vacuum mode in the evening after I put the kids to bed and read while it vaccums. When it's done, I swap it to mop mode and then I go to bed and my floors are immaculate in the morning. I have a fairly large main level, all hardwoods. It's about 2,000-3,000 sqft and this little guy gets every corner. I absolutely love the mopping aspect of this robot! It cleans my floors perfectly and I love that it goes back to home base to wash the mop heads periodically. Vacuum feature works well and I have no issues with it. The mapping system works amazing, it gets between all of the chairs and barstools very well. The mop is actually a scrubbing action and not just a cloth getting dragged across the floor like other robots. Can clear large area without having to change pads.I am running it every other day since we have two fur babies and one sheds ALOT! This is a very nice feeling to walk around our home with our bare feet without collecting "crumbs" on the bottom of our foot . I like this one better than i3 that I have as well.The i3 doesn't have the custom maps so it just cleans everywhere when it is scheduled.And it doesn't have the obstacles review option that the j7 does.I would 100% recommend it. It is worth every cent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first robotic vacuum of any type and I'm not sure how I've done without one for so long. Great product overall and I definitely recommend to my friends and family. The initial setup was simple, find a home for the Roomba, plug it in, download the app and get started. I have a combination of carpet/rugs/hardwood throughout my house so I was curious how the Roomba would do recognizing everything. The initial mapping of my first floor, which consists of about 1300 sq. ft, took about 2.5 hours went smoothly. After it was done it returned to the charger as I hadn't charged it right out of the box. The app is easy to use and I made a few rooms adjustments on the app, straightening a few door lines etc..., then was ready for its first run. Been using it for close to a month now and it has worked great. I like the scheduling features, as well as the notifications about what it is doing. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and the dogs could care less about it running, the cats are still curious each time it ventures out to clean however...lol. It is fairly quiet in my opinion, except when it returns home to empty itself, when it sounds like a shop vac. Other than that I really like this unit and expect it to last and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mop/vacuum combo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted an IRobot and was very thankful to be given the chance to review for my opinion thanks to BzzAgent. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to setup. The app really is such a great feature to accompany the vacuum. I also like how thorough it cleaned my floors. Most robot vacuums, end up sucking up cords or bumping into things. This vacuum identifies obstacles and avoids hazards. The Roomba combo J7 plus has some really great features such as automatic dirt disposal. I also noticed how powerful the suction was and it made my floors look better than they have looked in a year. I love that it vacuums and mops simultaneously so I don't have to go back and mop later on. The mop also passes the paper towel test which is shocking to me. Whenever I have mopped in the past with other methods I always have to go over with a paper towel to wipe away excess dirt. With this the paper towel came back clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are previous Shark vacuum owners, but we had the opportunity to try the iRobot Roomba Combo j7+. Let me start by saying this Roomba Combo vacuum is extremely smart, thorough & perceptive. We found it really easy to set up and I am absolutely thrilled about the camera function, it's fascinating watching it do its magic. We used our phone to set it up & it took only a few minutes. I absolutely love the App, it sends me notifications on my phone when the cleaning starts, if it runs into a problem and when the cleaning is done and a bunch of other cool things. The first section of our house is tile and the Roomba did a fantastic job with the food crumbs, dust bunnies and the abundance of MooseyMoo hair (dog hair). The second area of our house is all carpet. I was extremely satisfied with the carpet cleaning too it has excellent suction power there are no dog hair clumps, leaves that blew in or dirt left behind and the cleaning pattern is also brilliant. Let's move onto the volume of the Roomba while it's doing it's magic. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner would, it's just a whole lot quieter. My husband said it's about as loud as a microwave oven. I dunno if it's that quiet, but it's certainly tolerable. We can carry on a conversation in the room while it's cleaning, although if you're like me you may have to turn up the TV a tad to hear it better (getting old stinks) I would compare it to someone using a blow dryer in the next room. You can hear it, but can still function completely normally. The Roomba Combo j7+ is extremely efficient and works amazingly well.

This robot vacuum replaces a Shark robot vacuum that had an unfortunate encounter with pet waste. This robot vacuum has a camera that sees and avoids obstacles like pet waste. Needed in a household with a dog and a cat. The Roomba has much better suction, does a better job of cleaning, and the automatic emptying feature works very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Irobot vacuum and I am very happy with the performance of this product. Firstly as this is my first time using a robot vacuum so I do take much longer time (almost 6 hours) to set up the map, but it is still really helpful after all setup is done. With robot vacuum is really life-saving for me, I simply set up the schedule to vacuum. And J7 has an empty vacuum feature after the vacuum returns home and it will empty automatically. J7 also easily exchanges the filter and from your phone, you also can check the filter status. As J7 has a scanner on the front of the vacuum so it seems to identify objects easily, we have carpets and vinyl floor, but j7 runs through without issue. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and I would highly recommend it to everyone who loves to keep their home clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a new robotic floor cleaner than look no further than this I robot Roomba J7+ w/ mop feature. The set up of this floor cleaner rumba was very easy. You have to make sure that you put it in a centralized location where you get good Wi-Fi reception. I found it more efficient and easier to start a mapping run of my entire house first before I started cleaning. This allows the robot to roam around your house and map it out without using the cleaning motors so that you save battery and it gets done faster. I found that the iRobot for all it does great that the mapping is a little lacking compared to LiDAR mapping robots. It does create a good map and it lets the robot report back picture obstacles for you to make a determination on which is nice. Compared to the laser guided systems I found the rumba to be a little more clumsy and bump into objects more often than other robots. The best benefit I found with this model is that it does not get stuck near as easy as other robotic vacuums. I've ran this vacuum several times already in where my other vacuums have gotten stuck and I had to tend to them I did not have to one time with this one. I love how you can set the zones on your map for the robot to go clean just that specific spot or set no cleaning zones to stay out of certain spots. The vacuum storage clean out system is very nice so you don't have to constantly clean out the robot after each use but it is extremely loud Which scares our cat every time it empties. The mopping feature of this unit is hit or miss as it does mob fairly well if you choose to use two passes but if you only mop one pass it's a bit streaky. My overall opinion of this our robot is that if you want a reliable robot that will not get stuck and is map customizable for areas in your house then get this robot. If you want a more delicate robot that tiptoes around your house then maybe not as the iRobot occasionally bumps around your house to clean and the vacuum storage base is quite loud when emptying. I would recommend this vacuum though to anyone wanting to purchase one as it does quite a lot of things very well.
