The lock was easy to install and worked as described. There were two extra parts, an adhesive backed hook and wire key hanger. I don’t recall any instructions for these parts, but figured out how to use them.

Exactly what I expected fits car key fobs and more

This is exactly what I needed! We have "Do Not Duplicate" keys so when my son needs to get in, if I give him my key, I can't get in! This allows me to stash the key when needed and it's plenty big enough to fit my whole Keychain in there or other small things he may need (debit card, phone charger, etc.) I only have it 4 stars because it's not sealed around the edges so it needs to be placed under an overhang or something to keep the elements out. But it definitely no deal breaker! I'm happy with it.

The XXL lockbox is the perfect size for holding several keys without jamming everything together. Other standard-size lockboxes typically fit one or two keys at max. The capacity is the main reason for choosing this lockbox. The first unit I purchased was gifted to another; they had it mounted on a concrete wall without being obstructed or butted against another wall or object. I've received no negative feedback. The second unit I purchased was for my use and it destroyed itself during installation. The outer shell broke totally off the base - every connection "weld" snapped while inserting the mounting screws onto a wooden post. It may have been pressed against the adjacent wall causing sideways pressure as mounting screws were tightened. It does not bode well for the "toughness" of the lockbox if sideways pressure snapped all "welds" connecting the base and cover. This causes me to pause reference its security -- How would the lockbox sustain a hammer blow once mounted if a thief wanted the keys inside? My sense is that it would do the same thing - break the cover completely off the base, thereby exposing the "protected" keys on the inside. If I could afford to throw away ~$40, I'd buy one merely to test it. I hope that the manufacturer would have conducted several such tests before bringing to market as a security device for keys. I have my doubts. Walmart processed a refund online for the broken device w/o hassel. I ordered/purchased a replacement as I must have a lockbox to hold multiple keys. When mounting the replacement, I will attempt to assure it is not touching the adjacent wall. Nonetheless, such a simple mistake in attempts to fit a tight mounting space should not subject the device to total destruction. I would like to have one to test should the seller wish to have a real-life test of their product!
