[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using IronOUT Rust Stain remover about a month, I have hard water/well water and a lot of rust stains on the toilet bowl and the shower and shower doors. This is the absolute best product for the rust and hard water stains. It is safe for septic, it goes on as a gel so it clings on, leave it sit for a few minutes and wipe or scrub it and it's done and my shower and toilets are white again and the glass shower doors are clean! The rust stains were at least 10 years old and it still got rid of them. I did have to do the toilet twice but it cleaned it up looks like new.
If you have well water then you need this product!! My well water was turning my tub/ shower and sinks orange and cleaning with soft scrub with bleach helped but never quite got rid of the orange tint. And it came back fast after cleaning. A coworker told me to try Iron Out liquid and it worked! Lowes was the only local store I could find it and now they stopped stocking it. Lowes sold it the 24oz size which was nice but I'll settle for the 16oz bottle as long as I can order it! Thanks to Iron Out I now have white sinus and tub/ shower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iron OUT Rust Stain Remover Spray - 16 fl oz is an excellent product. I first tried out on my children's bathrooms shower head. After simply saturating the shower head with just a few sprays, I left it to sit for 30 minutes. Upon my return, 30 minutes later the shower head was spraying as if it were new! Next I tried it on the old well water, mineral and iron deposit ugly unusable garden tub....well, the photos speak for themselves and I am looking forward to using my now bright and beautiful garden tub!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a VERY high iron concentration in our well water at home and it ends up slowly turning our shower, sink and toilet a deep orange color over time. Have tried a ton of products to try to fix this issue but nothing works nearly as well as this product. Smells absolutely terrible but works AMAZING. A few spritzes of this and you can watch the orange dissolve away before your eyes. I use this formula for the sink and inside of the shower and use the powder formula for inside the toilet as that seems to work better there. As stated earlier, the smell is awful and lingers until you rinse everything down so definitely have windows open when using this product.
Seal on to prevent leakage Bagged well
Great for toilet bowls and sinks. You should offer it in stores- you only have the granular in the store.
great stuff
Iron Out Rust Stain remover works so good on white linens and clothes that turn yellow from our well water and restores them to WHITE! Use common sense, read and follow directions and it works like it says it does. THAT makes me happy as too many products make claims that don't prove to be true. Iron OUT Rust Stain Remover works.
Tried so many things that did not work that I didn't expect this to work either. Followed instructions and was very disappointed. BUT...walked away and came back a few minutes later and the rust was GONE!! Well, most of it. Had to respray a few spots. Seriously, give it a chance. I am so glad I did!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to remove rust stains in one of our toilets. I had read another review recommending plugging the toilet and filling it to the rim with the recommended dilution of Iron Out. Doing this and leaving it for an hour (more if the stains are bad) -worked perfectly. I would give it 5 stars if it would work on contact and I didn't have to soak, but at least it works.
