They are not the cheapest reading glasses you can get but as soon as you pick them up you can see and feel the difference in the quality of these glasses. The hinges are very much better than on any glasses that I have ever owned. The non slip pads on the ear pieces are also a plus if you work in hot environment like I do.
Has originally ordered the generic brand of readers. This Ironman brand was actually a substitute item . Im completely satisfied with them . They come with their own padded sleve or case . a little tight to open or close completely but an adjustment to the screws fixed the stiffness of the glasses.
The case that comes with the glasses is also very nice and heavy duty.
Everything, the fit, the look
These may say Ironman but they're still fragile. My husband must be rough on them because I've had to replace them twice for broken frame around the lens.
They have a side glare from anything that is behind you or on the side of you that has a light source, They are best for reading in the dark with only what you are reading that has the light on it , but the light can NOT be behind you or on the side of you. Because it causes a glare. I believe it is the blue light protection, that is built into the eyeglasses.
I'm lucky to get a month out of these readers. They break very easily where the bow meets the frame and the frame retaining the lens breaks and there's no fixin' that. I done with Ironman.
I can see much better with the Equate glasses I got at Walmart.
Two pair of glasses where shown when ordering. Only one was shipped. It does state a quantity of one, but I was led to believe it was a two pack. Very deceptive marketing practices. Come on Walmart, do better.
they broke the first week i had them
