Father's Day gift for my husband as he's been asking for a salt box %26 he's very happy w/it. Beautiful shade of wood in this piece. The only thing I would have liked is if the lid fit just a bit tighter but I will try adjusting the top screw.

I live in Central Florida and humidity here is really hard on anything with salt in it. I was concerned about how this would work for me, but so far it's been fine. I did put a couple of desiccant capsules in it. Being able to pick up salt with my fingers is easier that constantly wiping off damp tops on salt shakers when cooking.

This salt cellar holds salt well, performing as anticipated.

The wood looks very beautiful and elegant however the screw that holds the lid to the bottom is left exposed which makes the product look cheap. It also untightenes itself while you're using it.

I like the wood. The lid opens too easily, it is hard to keep it shut. A simple small magnet inserted opposite the screw would remedy that. Also, to make it look more appealing, I wish it had a wood cover for the screw which is exposed. I also would return it.
