Irwin/Hanson 54125 5 Piece Lugnut Specialty Set

Irwin Products are High Quality Tools. I have many of there products and these are easily the best I've ever used. for removing a rounded off Lug Nut that was over tightened with some rusting. I tried 2 Impact guns to remove it and neither one worked. One with 1400 ft lbs of breakaway torque the other with 1650. Then my son rounded it off trying to break it loose with a breaker bar and a Jack Handle for leverage. Hammered the 3/4 Bolt Extractor Socket on and and his 21 year old back and the same breaker bar jack handle set up it broke it looses. #sweepstakes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Really good set of lug extractors. I don't really like the price but I'd say it was worth it.

Bought this set to help remove a rounded lug nut on one of the wheels of my vehicle. Prior to this I couldn't get it to budge. Standing and even jumping on the lug wrench wouldn't move it and ended up rounding the lug off to where it would no longer allow the wrench to grip it. After securing the proper size bolt extractor, it still took a lot of elbow grease but the lug eventually gave way. Saved me from having to have it towed into a shop.

I've used two sets of these extractors in the 25 years I've been involved with plant maintenance. I've found nothing that compares to them in performance or price. I am submitting an order to my distributor for five sets for my maintenance staff, at their request, today. Thanks for a great product.

i had 2 spark plugs snap off in my dodge 360 and these extractors where the only way i could remove them,the other brands i tried couldn't handle the torque needed to remove them
