I don't yeti know how good these are, I purchased them as a gift for my friend and she is not getting these for about a week, yet. they're a good brand, and the color pictured is accurate.
Not very supportive. But they are great to block sun on hands while driving %26 offer a little bit of warmth.
Surprised how comfortable and useful these gloved are Not only for compression, but nice layer under mittens
So comfortable. I sleep with one so my hand doesn't swell after surgery and it works great! I used to wake up from the velcro on my braces, but they are so soft, yet durable.
My wife suggested that I try these to help relieve the pain and swelling of two fingers on my left hand that had developed from an exacerbation of gout symptoms. The gentle compression made a world of difference. After just a day the swelling was half of what it originally had been and subsequently the pain was similarly diminished.
I bought these gloves to help with the neuropathy side-effects of chemotherapy. I ordered a Small based on other reviewer's comments that the gloves ran large. (the PDF for sizing on this site is not to proper scale). They work great. I also ordered a 2nd pair, X-small, for even more compression. If you could work a touchpad or smartphone with them on, I'd wear them much longer. I often sleep with them on, too. They feel wonderful and are well made.
I am suffering from Parsonage-Turner syndrome resulting from an adverse reaction to this years flu shot. This is a very, very painful condition affecting the nerves on my left side where the shot was given. My hands feel as if they are in an electrical socket being shocked constantly...when the frequency of the nerve pain gets severe, an effect of the hand being put in scalding water prevails along with the shocking sensation:-( Suffice it to say it is very painful--the compression glove helps relieve the pain. I just wish there were something of this sort for the legs which the flu shot also left me crippled on the left side and I'm told by my doctors this will be a long term condition if not for the rest of my life. I am thankful for your ISOTONER COMPRESSION GLOVES...especially since they are not available anywhere else that I know of and I'm thanking my OT specialist for recommending them.
I have purchased Isotoner products for quite a few of my 64 years mostly from department stores but more recently online. I consider Isotoner products to be tried and true. I`ve experienced very few discrepancies with or about my purchases and that`s something that a customer like me can really appreciate. What more could a customer ask for? Thanks Isotoner for a lot of years of great service and great products. Mr. Henry James
The compression gloves seem to work as they should, but my husband has trouble opening doors while wearing them. I used to have Isotoner driving gloves with leather strips on the palms to help grip the steering wheel. I think something like that would be beneficial.
i have been using these gloves now for a couple of months for complex regional pain syndrome II and they provide even compression. Although the stitching is outside, I continue to get lines in my skin where the stitching is located. Depending on how much swelling you get, may change the size required. I ordered a large due to the amount of swelling. This would be a five star rating, if they were sold individually since I only need the left one. I am happy that they come both with and without full fingers since my fingers and hand cannot tolerate the cold. Thankfully I live in Florida where it is warm more often than not. I also wish they came not only the current thickness, but a somewhat thinner version for when it is hot due to the sweating caused by my illness. In addition a slightly longer version would be beneficial as well. I would really love them to come in alternate colors since this color stains easily and I wear them constantly. I have already purchased 3 full finger pairs and will likely need more as this is typically a lifetime illness. Without additions of other colors, I may have to start looking at other gloves, but I like these more than the others tried. It is also a shame to throw away a perfectly good glove since I only need the left one.
