I use these daily when working in my shop. easy to adjust the sound level and the awareness setting. I highly recommend. I was getting tired of earbuds falling out while working. My only with is that there was an eye shield that could be added for eye protection. wearing eye protection pulls the ear pads away just a bit- still provides good hearing protection, but makes listening to my book slightly more challenging. :)
It was amazing, my industry is heavy duty diesel's so loud noises can come at anytime and I like how I can still hear other people. I do wish the earmuffs had a battery life indicator on them so I can take a quick peek and see where my battery life is at.
These were a gift, but I was told they are a good fit, comfortable to wear and have very good and sound. My husband tried them out and stated they are "superb!"
They are great on their own as noise attenuation, and awesome as audio headphones, but was impressed by the aware feature. They even expand to fit well over my large noggin. The construction seems like it is of high enough quality to stand-up to years of my sweating while wearing them to work in.
The link aware hearing protection works fantastic. I am able to sync with my apple phone for music, and I can still hear all of the activity around me. My only issue is the battery life and charging. The battery does not last all day, and the charging seems to be inconsistent. The cable connection seems to be very sensitive.
I love my ISOtunes. I wear them 10 hours a day (with breaks). I work in a machine shop that is at a constant 80db. I need to talk to coworkers and have trouble hearing them over the noise. I tried using shooting headphones (that block out handgun reports while allowing conversation) but the background noise was overwhelming. I hoped that the adjustable background noise deadening would allow me to hear coworker voices over the din, but they did not. That is the only reason I gave them 4 of 5 stars, because I expected too much. I like how easily and solid the bluetooth connection is, how comfortable they are to wear, how they have the ability to add AAA batteries should the rechargeable battery wear out. I have also used them in the woods while camping to amplify the noises around me so I could better hear birds, deer, opossums, insects, etc... I will likely upgrade them with the gel pads once the current ear pads wear out.
The bad news is that the ear muffs don't extend far enough down to cover my ears comfortably for extended periods of use. The good news is that I like the Bluetooth and the LINK Aware capabilities. The volume and LINK Aware adjustments are very nice.
Mediocre. Noise reduction okay. Battery died right after warranty. Replacement battery lasts 4-5 hours at best, loses charge overnight. Definitely not a good value in my experience.
These do not control the noise level in our production area and amplify voices/intercom at the same time. It is either one or the other. I was hoping they would do both. When I saw these at a show, I was told they would do both. These are not what we are looking for.
I am disappointed to report that I am unable to hear the sounds through the headphones. I have hearing loss and wear hearing aides. I do not wear the hearing aides when I use headphones. I typically use Bose Headphones and I have no troubles with them. But, I wanted something heavier duty for when I mow the grass and work in my shop. I was excited to learn about your product but they provide no use for me and I would like to return them. I am sure they would work well for a person with normal hearing but candidly, my hearing loss is not significant and as noted the Bose Headphones work well for me.
