[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by the package design while I opened the box, it's looking beautiful. This product is perfect for preparing my face for makeup. With the vitamin E in it, it helps to hydrate my skin for long lasting makeup, which is great! Moreover, it's SPF30 and protects my skin from UV perfectly in this summertime. And it is a refreshing, lightweight SPF spray without greasy . I also spray it on my face for cooling in mid-day for refreshing and protection. It works perfectly with my make up. All in all, would recommend this product to friends who want a sunscreen setting mist.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My absolute favorite thing about this is that it doesn't leave any white or purple residue at all on my brown skin. I also really like the fact that it's a spray sunscreen, although it's not always a fine spray, I have a tendency to forget or just be lazy when it comes to applying sunscreen in general. This has a nice sunscreen smell and doubles as a setting mist and it does kind of make my face feel slightly tight or tacky, but also soft probably due to vitamin E. I also really love the packaging and bottle design it's so pretty and the fact it's recyclable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a huge facial care person but I have been trying to be better about taking care of my skin. I like this product because the instructions are easy to follow and it only takes one minute to apply. The mist feels good on my skin and eliminates my worries of getting burnt or aged by the sun. Products that don't make me feel sticky or oily are what I look for and this is one of them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed using the itk brand sunscreen setting mist every morning. It doesn't feel sticky or tacky, and is super easy to spray and get even on my face and neck. It works fine for my work days and even on weekend mornings at the outdoor Farmer's Market. I love that the ingredient list is small, and that you can recycle the bottle and box. This has worked great for my skin all summer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wear sunscreen everyday year round. I have read and heard that sunscreen should be the last step after skincare and makeup but it's not easy to do. I always put mine on before makeup. Well with this product my sunscreen is now my final step and it's a setting spray too. I love two in one products. It leaves my skin glowing and hydrated with any greasy feel or white residue. It's very light. It's super hot right now where I am, I just wear this alone while I'm home around the house. The only thing I don't like is it's not always a fine mist and I get wet spots. Otherwise I love it and will definitely get another when this one is done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is important to wear sunscreen on your face daily, even if you're not going outside. I hear my mom's voice in my head telling me if she could do one thing differently at my age, it would be to wear sunscreen. The issue I have is the inconvenience of applying sunscreen. I had 2 liquid sunscreens - 1 tinted and 1 not tinted. I didn't like how the sunscreen would get on my fingers and would be difficult to wash off - especially the tinted sunscreen. I also had a powder sunscreen, which I did like but am skeptical about coverage. This sunscreen mist is a good compromise BUT I had to learn the hard way on the proper technique on application. I originally used this sunscreen by itself on my makeup free skin, the only other product on my face was a serum. The sunscreen left my face looking extremely oily and although I closed my eyes and sprayed 10 inches away when I applied, it burned my eyes the remainder of the day. My skin was also sensitive when I cleaned my face with toner that night. The second time I wore this sunscreen, I decided to use a think moisturizer and wear my normal makeup - light concealer, eyebrows, mascara, and I use a HD powder to mattify my skin. I then applied the sunscreen mist and was careful around my eyes and even went as far as covering them with my hand. My skin was not oily, the sunscreen sat on top of my HD powder, which was pleasantly surprising. I ran errands, I was outside and my makeup was still on point, and my skin was still oil free. My eyes did not burn. The sunscreen set my makeup, and I felt confident it was also protecting my skin. If used correctly, this product works. I think that the formula can be improved to not be as harsh. I can see this being problematic for sensitive skin. I also would not recommend for this to be used on kids.
I love the idea of this product. An affordable, easy to reapply sunscreen with no white cast. The product, however, felt a bit harsh on my skin. Even though I closed my eyes and mouth when spraying, I could still taste/feel it burning. Also, my skin felt rough a few days after using this for the first time. I'm unsure if it was this product that did it, because I was trying a few others at the time, but it's made me a bit hesitant to try it again.
I really truly wanted to love it, but it broke my skin out horribly.... I wore it for two days, and I got little whiteheads everywhere... I couldn't even count how many whiteheads it gave me.... Again, I really wanted to love it, because I love Brooklyn and Bailey, but I'm disappointed. I wouldn't even say I have super sensitive skin, so if it broke me out, I'm sure it broke out most people too. Two stars because the packaging is cute and it's a great idea, the actually wear of it fell short for me though, unfortunately...
This looked like a cool product, especially to go over makeup, so I got it as a gift. Let me tell you that this stings my skin. After my third use, I had to stop. I do not have sensitive skin so I don't experience irritation to the skin ever but this product managed to do that. It almost feels like I am spraying rubbing alcohol on my skin, literally both feel the same on my skin and smell. I covered my eyes when I would spray this but whatever little contact the skin around my eyes had with this product was enough to irritate and dry the skin out. I wish I could return it but again it was a gift, so to the trash (I kid I recycle). If I could I would give this a zero. (Side note: How many of these reviews are legit? I see so many from ITK saying they were apart of a promotion.) Also before anyone says anything, yes I did a patch test before using the product. In hindsight I shouldn't have used it when my first thought was that lol this feels like those menthol cooling products, like the clean and clear face scrub that I have been using forever. I added a picture to show how red my skin looks and near my eye you can see like a dark red line at the outer corner forming. It feels like a scab when I touch it. It says reef safe so there's my one star and packaging is cute, but it's not skin safe lol
I wanted to live this product, but after using it for a week I believe it is to blame for my red, burning, watery eyes. It stinks like sunscreen, is very sticky, and leaves your face shiny. By the afternoon, I guess it seeps into my eyes and they burn and water so bad and it looks like I've cried all day! I'm going to take a break from the spray to see if it's the culprit. If so, I hope I can return it to the store- I don't have the original box though?!
