iTouchless 13 gal Odor Absorbing Automatic Stainless Steel Kitchen Garbage Can

We had a different brand automatic touchless trash can. After a number of years, it wore out, and we looked online to find a new one. Once you've had an automatic touchless one, you don't want to go back!! We found this Wal-Mart one and ordered it, having it sent to the store for pick-up. We like this brand much better than the one we had before, and highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for one.

I was looking for a kitchen can that was slim. This fits the small space I have. The touchless part was a bonus. I didn't realize an adapter is sold separately (or it takes 4 D batteries). I'm using an adapter from one of the kids toys. All in all this is a good product.

We have gone through several types of trash cans and this one met all our needs and more. It's easy to use and changing out the bags is not a problem. It holds the full capacity of the bag, so we aren't having to change them out as often as before. A suggestion: Do not buy the AC/DC cord from the manufacturer, as it is close to $30 (item and shipping). You probably have this type of cord laying around from another device. If not, try purchasing it at Home Depot, Radio Shack, etc. Overall, we absolutely love our iTouchless TrashCan!

Love this trash can! We bought one a year ago, and we really liked it. Our town is starting a recycling program that we will definitely be participating in now! So now we have 2 touchless cans! Our first is still working without a hitch. Only con is> Do not put them next to each other! when you go to throw something away, both will open. The delivery was so worth it, especially seeing it was around Christmas! No long lines to wait in at the Customer service desk! Plus it got to our house sooner than expected! No dents, no dings :) Oh and fits a normal size trash bag :) Love the ring that holds the bag in place.

Was nervous this wouldn't be as good as advertised given the price of other touchless trash cans, but I've had it about a month and have been really happy with it so far. Works perfectly and does not look cheap. At this point, would purchase again.

I got my first iTouchless about 6 years ago and aside from the initial novelty effect, it proved to be simply the best kitchen trash can I've ever had. Unfortunately, a friend at a recent dinner party tried to lift the lid manually and in doing so, wound up breaking the gear tooth which was part of the automatic lifting mechanism. So I thought I could just revert to an old-style can but realized that I had gotten so used to the improved sanitation of not having to lean close over existing garbage or miss the bag while scraping garbage off a plate, that an old-fashioned can would no longer due. Bought the latest model which is equipped with a replaceable deodorizing filter bag, a wider opening and a quieter lift mechanism and couldn't be more pleased with the purchase

I had used one like this in a vacation rental unit and really liked it. In my home, it fits nicely in a small space. A touchless trash can in the kitchen is much better than having to lift the lid by hand or use a foot pedal. I'm using batteries instead of buying the expensive charger separately. So far, I'm very pleased with the performance and I like the idea of the attached deodorizer. I can't tell yet how that is going to work. The can was very easy to put together and I started using it immediately.

Bought this about 5 years ago and the motor went in the lid as it would no longer open. I just bought another one as I loved the 1st one. I bought the plug to eliminate the need for batteries. Just wave your hand over the lid and it automatically opens and closes, very convenient and practical for my use. Holds 13 gallon trash bags that you can buy anywhere. I recommend this can to anyone looking for something a little different than the ordinary and works well.

Upside : Very nice looking and convenient item. Downside: The carbon odor filter does not seem to work well. We've had it for 2 weeks and we will attach a store bought deodorizer in it. Further, when we received this item via shipment, it had 2 dents in it. We were able to arrange it so that the dents did not show. Overall, we are fairly satisfied.

Loved this trash can for the first month or so. I didn't know how I had lived without the deodorizing feature since I have a 1 year old with smelly diapers. Then the sensor just stopped working. I thought it was the cord, so I put batteries in it. Still didn't work, so I bought a new cord. Now it works about 50% of the time. At least the lid still stays tightly closed to keep the smell in, but I would really love for it to open when I have something to throw in there. Pretty expensive trash can for me to have it only about 3 months, and now I'm already looking for another option.
