cons: Theres a little more work in taking out the trash now. You have to now tuck the bag under a black piece of plastic and then you have to replug in the can. Its all easy but time consuming. pros: It has the option to lock the top from opening. This has kept my dog out of the trash which is why we purchased this waste can in the first place. It does a fine job. I highly recommend. We bought two!
that your pet can not get in it
I love this trash can! It works great for my household and the plus is not having to touch it to open or close. I did notice I am unable to fully use the 13 gallon trash bags though. When I take the trash out there is a good amount of bag that is still available. Otherwise this trash can is perfect.
Excellent trash can and the dogs haven't gotten into the trash since we changed cans.
I would have given this trash can a five-star rating in all categories. I wanted to replace the lid on my old one (it stopped working after 18 years) and found the lid was almost as expensive as the entire unit. I know 18 years is a long time but it would have been nice to be able to replace just the lead at a more reasonable price.
Works pretty well except it doesn't come with a power cord you have to order that separately which is stupid
Not convenient doesn't always open gets stuck

I spent $100 on this touch less trash can. Within 2 months, it won't open on its own. The mechanism broke in the lid.
