iTouchless 14 gal Stainless Steel Rectangular Sensor Kitchen Garbage Can

So far so good. It fits perfectly under the counter of the bar in the kitchen next to a plug so I do not have to use batteries. The bar height is within range of the sensor, so that part has to stick out a little bit, but that is okay because it is at the end of the bar anyway so that there is room to put trash in it. It is a 14 gallon bin, so the entire 13 gallon bag fills up before you have to change it. Overall, it is a good buy.

I love that there is no lid to flap up and whack the counter's edge every time I open the trash can. And I don't have to mess with batteries, thanks to the included a/c adapter. My lid did stick open once, but I simply turned off and unplugged the lid, waited a few seconds, plugged it back in and turned it on, and it worked again. The item arrived in perfect condition, and at a great Sam's Club price.

Electric Garbage Can great concept the only thing is it's quite noisy. If we could cut down on the noise I would give it 5 stars. I do like that you are hands free and don't have to touch lids or anything like that. And the plus is it's electric and if you don't have an outlet in the right spot you can use batteries. Love having not to get my hands dirty.

I brought this for the family trash and the opening is too small

The trash bin is designed so that you can't pull the trash bag out without ripping it. The original design, with the flip up lid, is better. It's a cool concept, but the novelty wears off within a month or so.

I was so excited to receive my new trash can. I know it's sad to get excited about a trash can, but I loved the trash can on line and thought this would be perfect for my kitchen. It arrived quickly, but did not work. We tried two sets of batteries, and work for a very long time trying everything but to no avail. I finally noticed the lid slates were defective. Also after looking it over I decided not to order a new one as I didn't think it was worth the cost of the can.

I bought this and decided to return it the day it arrived. The opening is not wide enough to fit a paper plate without folding it. The way the top is made, it would always need to be cleaned. Whatever is thrown away would brush against the underside of the top. Poorly designed. The sensor is too sensitive. Timing of opening and close is good. Opens fast enough.

I purchased this trash can because the size and shape were perfect for my space. I am so disappointed. The first night I had it the lid opened and closed every 5 minutes, until I got out of bed and unplugged it. Read the user's manual and tried all the "fixes" but nothing worked. Tried calling the manufacturer at the number provided in the user manual. No luck. No one was ever around to answer my call. Contacted Sam's and will be returning it. Too bad.

Worked great for about 10 minutes then stopped working completely I'll be returning it as soon as possible I will not purchase another I'll get a refund and buy something else I got this one because it plugs into the wall and thought that would be nice not to have to replace batteries but now I'm thinking I should have gone with the other unit I was looking at completely disappointed

The opening started to make squeaking noises and then stopped working. Could smell a burning coming from the back of the can where you plug in the connector. It's going back.
