I think it might be a little too heavy for newborns with the buddy on it, but great for 3mo+

This pacifier is durable. Safety is a must so it is great. It's soft. It's versatile. So it could be a plush or a lovey and a pacifier. Or you could just take the pacifier off. It's a sweet combo—a soft Sherpa plush lovey with a natural rubber pacifier attached. It's well-made and perfect as a little comfort buddy and self-soother in one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pacifier seems like it might not withstand teeth very well but it does say 0-6 months. It does seem well made otherwise. The cow is shedding a lot which is unfortunate. I would never give this to a baby myself because of all the shedding. It would get in their mouths. I guess you could try to get it all off of it.
