IVATION 13-Pint Desiccant Dehumidifier, Compact & Quiet, Continuous Drain Hose, Covers up to 270 Sq Ft

I love how quiet it is. It does blow out warm air which I love for winter but won't be so great in the summer. It is easy to empty out. Since it is small I have to empty in the morning and in the evening.

I live in a very tiny house with moisture issues this winter. Buying this has been the best thing for moisture control. I really appreciate it's small, slim size.

It's been running constantly for a couple of months. I have it hooked to a drain line. Very pleased with the results.

Very happy with my purchase! It was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. The dehumidifier works very well and doesn't make any sound when on the lowest setting (which is where I usually have it). In the higher setting of course, it does make more sound, a high shush sound. I am very sensitive to noise, so I leave it at the lowest setting, and even there, it pulls a lot of humidity. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because it releases some heat and makes the room temperature about 2 degrees hotter, which is not great in summer.

Very quiet and effective Much quieter than conventional compressor unit Reservoir is way too small for capacity of machine ; absolutely need to use the ( included ) drain hose to a drain or bucket

I ordered this after my basement flooded from heavy rains. It's a very small and compact machine. At first, I scoffed at it, but after I had it on continuously for a couple of days, I was pleasantly surprised. I put it in a room twice or three times the size than I was supposed to, and this little bugger worked great! My basement was a sopping mess so I kept it on "Continuous" mode for DAYS and it dried everything up - walls, floors, even the low level of water that was in my dry well. I only had two issues with it: The plastic hose supplied should be twice the length (but I resolved that by inserting it into a garden hose that I cut); and at first I wasn't putting the plastic hose in the slot properly (I shoved it in too much) but with a little trial and error, I got the hang of it. Something I mocked at first turned out to be a good investment

It was working fine until 3 months down the line when it start making noise when being used, Somehow it managed to remove the humidity every 12 hours. By the starting of the third year , the performance was hampered to such an extent that it couldn't remove humidity even at 70% indoor , so I had to buy a new replacement

It was doing what it supposed to do in a quiet manner until the very day I returned from a trip. It started making rattling noise and giving off a smell. I reached out to the manufacturers but it would be a disappointment if it stopped working after costing that much.

I have had two of this and they both does their job fantastic. After what it felt like 6-9 months later, it started making rattling sounds. I got this one as a replacement but it suffered the same fate. They also stopped draining as they was designed to be. The design failed me even though I loved them.

Used it for the last half a year duration on a boat in pacific northwest. It kept the humidity level in perfect condition and stabilized the temorature in the cabin to be 35 degrees. Apart from squeaking voice from the vent, it is great product.
