Good clean refreshing soap, doesn't leave a residue. Been around since the dawn of mankind and not going anywhere anytime soon !!! A shower staple !!!
Over the years, I quit buying bars of soap and started buying liquid bath wash in plastic bottles. These liquids became more %26 more difficult to rinse off and my water bill kept increasing. But, even worse was the plastic bottles going into the garbage dump/landfills. An Ivory soap bar suds up quickly, rinses off even quicker and the bar still FLOATS!
We have seven people in our family, all different skin types a few with eczema a few with dry skin just a lot going on. This is more cost-effective than us buying Dove. Didn’t wanna buy different soaps for everybody in the house so this works well for my two kiddos with eczema as well as the teenagers and adult adults.
I really appreciate Ivory soap because of its pure and simple ingredients. It doesn’t have any heavy perfumes or harsh chemicals, which makes it gentle on the skin. I feel clean and refreshed after using it, without worrying about unnecessary additives. Ivory’s long-standing reputation for being mild and trustworthy gives me confidence every time I use it. There’s something comforting about its classic scent and the way it lathers smoothly. It’s not flashy or overcomplicated—just honest and effective. In a world full of products with too much going on, Ivory stands out for keeping things pure, natural, and reliable.
me and my whole family have sensitive skin so it's hard to find soap we can bathe with that won't break us out and doesn't have any fragrance or anything extra added to it, and it is vey affordable. this is the only soap I bathe with besides Dove's sensitive skin soap.
This smells like a gentle lemongrass scent- it is somewhat drying on body after a while; however, I also use this as a laundry stain bar and it works a lot like Zote white soap flakes do! It’s almost the same product
i been using ivory bars for 5 decades . it cleans the same and never changed . here is tip for you to make it last longer ,,, just break it in half on the edge of counter and you have two perfect size to use .. with the 4 oz especially ..
I grew up using Ivory. I still like the soap. But over the years the bars have shrunk immensely. Also, I recently became aware that unless a product says it is “cruelty free” it probably is testing on animals, including beagles. So not wanting to change my soap, but even more not wanting to support companies that needlessly abuse animals, I contacted the company and asked if they test on animals, and specifically on beagles. They never replied. Makes me wonder.
I have been buying this soap for 15 years and the soap is fine, but the price is going way up and the size of the bars have shrunk 3 times in the past two years. Not Walmarts fault, but it’s getting ridiculous .
I have used Ivory bar soap original scent all my life. It has always had a very light scent that I could tolerate, but they must have changed the formula because the bars I received have very strong fragrance. I am fragrance sensitive so I had to throw them out. Will not buy Ivory bar soap again.
