Ivory Gentle Bar Soap, Original Scent, 3.17 oz., 3 Count

Ivory soap is made without massive amounts of ingredients which are not soap related. After over 50 years of use, I still prefer this bar soap to all others.

I love Ivory soap. I have washed my face with it for years. I am 61 and have NO wrinkles on my face. I also love the fresh clean smell. Ivory soap is a great all over bar of soap for the whole family.

All my life I've washed my face in only Ivory soap. Then everyone ask me what brand of wrinkle cream do I use and I just say, "Ivory soap and good genes!"

This is the original scent of Ivory I ordered the new scent would have got the allergies "In an uproar." Proper amount of lather, when you rinse the washcloth it's out. I'm a very senior and this soap is still the best. My son when he was a younger tot loved how it floated and would put his Matchbox cars on it to travel the great waves of the bath tub. This is a soap that is tried and true. Ivory used to also come in a box as flakes for washing ladies stockings etc.

It does not rinse clean very easily. It smells exactly like original Ivory. It is rather creamy. I do not like how it leaves my skin feeling. I will only use it to wash my hands or face.

Buyers beware. The image you see will not be the item you’ll get, you would think for the overpriced tag they are charging you would base it on the image and maybe they just made a mistake on the number of bar soap. But not it’s an overpriced 3 bars of soap.

Was shopping for other things and didn’t pay attention to the description but $8 and some changes for just 3 bars of soap in this economy. I’ll be paying more attention the next time I checkout!

As soon as I opened the package I knew this wasn't the same product I loved growing up. Firstly, I could hardly smell any fragrance, unless I literally put it against my nose. Secondly, what I could smell, was NOT the original, fresh, clean smell of Ivory soap I loved. The bars appearance isn't the same as the original, either. The original was bright white, clean, milky looking. This garbage looks plastic, like a mold of 2 offwhite pcs glued together. And it doesn't soap up the same. The fact that the packaging describes it as "Original Scent" is a lie.

Very disappointed in the new formula. They changed their ingredients and their process in making the soap. It is completely different. They old formula had been around 145 years. I just bought 30 bars and realized the difference instantly. Now I need to see if I can return them.

Does not lather like the original formula. Smells different than the original formula. You screwed up. If the change was to cut costs, you could have increased the price. If it was because it was a small percentage of sales, you should have advertised more. Claiming that this product goes back generations is false; it's not the same stuff. Bad move, and I will no longer buy it.
