Look It's not a GoPro, but it definitely has it's uses. Haven't tested the 4k abilities as the 1080p30fps has been good enough for my motorcycle helmet camera. The video quality is actually not bad for a cheapo little Chinese knock off. It looks pretty clear. Battery life isn't terrible, they give you two batteries in the box. Each of them last about 45 ish more minutes in 120⁰ heat. This is one of those, I could spend $150 on a better action camera, but I want to save my money and still need something in the meantime. It's also a good backup or second camera when I choose to upgrade to a GoPro. Wouldn't gift this to someone though. If you're buying a gift for someone, actually think of the person and get them the real thing... That being said, would purchase another again, and probably will soon.

Overall, the camera is dependable, easy to use, and works well for anyone who wants simple controls with good video quality in active situations.
