They don't need anything they last without any type of support. These are the best hot rollers ever invented. If I had to pick any rollers, perfect for specific vintage hair looks, these would be it. These rollers are perfect for bridal styles. , 80s, and straight preppy curls. I've bought two sets. . I'm going to purchase the shorter and the brush iron. I have every tool on the market every brand that is known. . had I known of Callista tools. I would've by far not ever invented in any brand. You asked me the brand and I will photograph it in my home. . how they did it I don't know. They've mastered the skill of tools.

I really am enjoying the rollers. I like the clips to secure the rollers. I am a 60 yr old, post menapause woman with fine and thinning hair. I struggle to get any volume or body. Now if I could get the curl or body to last longer than an hour🤞🏼 I am disappointed that the clips do not store in the pocket of the bag with the curlers on the base. One of the elements on the bottom doesn't fit any roller very well. So one roller does not heat up unless you hold it down. I just move it to another element. I guess that is what you get with refurbished product.

Gets hot FAST and x long length creates vertical curls!
