I used this ti fix a small gasket leak between the two pipe connectors. cut little pieces folded and slipped them in the leak/ crack and packed more with pointy thing ,heated with lighter torch ,added more small strips i cut to wrap the whole connection seal. then around the blots and more heat n more wrap heat. and finished with aluminum tape. works great. about an hour of work.

had a full crack seperation in exaust pipe, it covered and sealed nicely. quieted down my exhaust and helped for a smoother ride...easy to use, prep before use. pretty impressed with it overall

no chemicals to mix ir indeed into the wrap, easy to apply, great results. my only negative is the smell during the curing process and the way it lingers for several weeks after.

It worked, I do not know how long is going to last but for a temporary repair it a very good product . It needs a wide clamp to hold the tape till it cured

Let me first state that I was trying to seal up a muffler system on a Honda XL 250 motorcycle. I followed directions exactly as laid out on package. I also did research before purchasing. I took on project with full expectation that it would fail. I prepped surface down to bare metal, cleaned with alcohol, scuffed metal surface with sandpaper, filled any larger holes with foil tape, installed product evenly and firmly. Secured the patch with foil tape per instructions. Let cure for 48 hrs. It lasted about two hours before the patch, firmly cured, just popped off like an eggshell. The patch did keep its shape, it just didn't stick to the metal muffler. Completely failed. Remember, I said that I anticipated failure, so there was no real surprise, just a useless waste of $14-15. The technology just isn't there yet. The idea is good, but if they can't come up with a durable adhesive that bonds and lasts longer than an hour, this product is just a waste of time and money. In retrospect, I would have been better off just buying the replacement parts and spending the time to properly install a new exhaust. Considering the time I wasted, the money it cost, and now the new expense it will cost to correctly replace my exhaust, I should have not purchased this product. I value my time, and JB Weld should compensate me for my time "testing" their product for them. Its not like I can return it once I have used it. It is a scam when you consider that really you are just a product tester, and you paid for the privilege!! I want my $15 returned to me AND compensation for my wasted energy, time, and for this review!!

Used to be a lot better. Now is thin, brittle and little adhesive - Used to get a nice piece of wire to hold the wrap in place

The Aluminum to cover the strip of sealant is not included in the package. Otherwise it would be an excellent purchase.
