This enables you to mirror from a variety of sources to an HDMI TV. This is useful for many purposes. The device is simple, it has an HDMI on one end and a USB on the other. It also comes with a USB extension cable in case your TV does not have a USB to use for power or you need the longer cable to reach the USB Port. I found the installation to be straight forward.
I absolutely love what the screen Cast HDMI wireless display j5create. Makes it super easy to connect to my phone & my TV screen & watch anything at anytime. This is awesome for my family. We will definitely be getting a lot of use from this HDMI Wireless Display.
We used this for a family reunion to cast photos from my cell phone to our large screen TV in the living room. My husband, the techy one, was able to easily figure out how to do it. Everything that showed up on the screen of the smartphone, displayed clearly on the large TV. I think this would also have been good to have back in college when I did presentations.
My over all review on the j5create ScreenCast is good. I have bought several different kinds of these cords none ever worked until we got this one. Very happy. The only con is that it does have a lag sometimes. It maybe the internet.
Worked great for me , at first I was very apprehensive about this gadget thinking it would not work however I was pleasantly surprised and it got the job done
This ScreenCast cable was so simple to set up with the QR code, and the video quality was unbelievably good. I loved how fast and easy it was to use, even for someone who isn't great with technology like myself.
This product really surprised me! Setup was pretty easy but maybe a little hard for non-techy people. I didn't know there were alternatives to an Apple tv. The video feed is low latency and responsive! The quality is limited to 1080p. 4k would be cool but I understand. Smart product!
Using the J5Create Screencast HDMI was super easy to kinda fun! I'm able to do demos from my phone and present to a larger flatscreen with ease. I can also play games on my phone and have them project to screens, if I want. I took off one start because I'm not able to use this device to play purchased movies from my phone to my TV, doesn't really make sense why this wouldn't be allowed. Overall a nice device and I'd recommend to anyone who uses their phone to do demos, or needs to project from their phone.
This cord worked seamlessly between my android phone and my MacBook pro. I was able to easily cast my phone onto my computer screen. The only downside is that I was hoping to wirelessly connect my Nintendo switch to my TV via HDMI with this cord too and that did not work. The other thing was the instructions were a little overwhelming as there is like 50 languages. Lol but this cord does an amazing job doing what it was designed to.
The j5create ScreenCast lets you cast from your phone, tablet, or laptop to a tv wirelessly. It's nice a small and easy to set up. I found it to be great for photos or presentations with documents and such but it's not really great for video. It's really laggy and you can't mirror netflix or hulu or anything like that. So I recommend it for photos and documents and such but that's about it and if that's what you just need it for then it's perfect!
