J.A. Henckels International Graphite Hollow Edge Santoku Knife

I got these for my Son in law that cooks at a country club. He needed affordable quality knives that are easy to care for. He really likes this Santoku and uses it daily to prep vegetables. He says it works great, feels nice and well balanced and is light enough to use for long periods of time.

This knife is very comfortable to hold and is extremely sharp. I believe it is well worth the money to have in your kitchen. I have not had it for long so I do not know how long it will keep its edge.

This is a great knife for chopping fruits and vegetables. The Asian blade style is thin, sharp and durable. Excellent weight and size for ease in chopping. I use this for tear free onion slicing! It's perfect for smashing and mincing garlic and ginger. The contour handle is comfortable to hold.

The aesthetic of the Graphite Santoku knife is really sleek. This German stainless steel forged Santoku knife is a really great knife to use for chopping meats and vegetables. It has a nice weight to it and the handles contours nicely in hand for easy and safe gripping while chopping produce.

Nice Santoku with a hollow edge blade so food won't stick. A satin-finish with a blade that is 1/2 serrated and has a full bolster. The endcap is a nice touch on the end of the handle, along with a slight curve so it fits nicely in your hand and gives a good grip. the graphite color is a beautiful touch, especially for modern kitchens of today.

This santoku is perfect for vegetable prep. Its made from high quality German Steel and has a fully forged bolster (middle of the knife) which means is strong and durable. The handle looks like smooth metal but it actually is brushed so no slipping when wet. The hollow edge helps move food away from blade when cutting.
