J.A. Henckels International Modernist 7-pc Self-Sharpening Block Set

I bought this knife set as a Christmas gift. I am very excited to give this to my daughter. The block is beautiful and the knives appear very sturdy. I love the self sharpening feature. My husband is a chef and he agrees.

Absolutely love this knife set. The knives are incredibly sharp and make prep a breeze. They have a great weight to them which makes them easy to use. One thing that is relatively insignificant but I would like to be different is that the block is significantly slanted, so the block takes up more counter space than I would like.

As someone who tragically forgets to sharpen her knives until they become blunt objects, I'm excited at this seemingly easy solution. Time will tell but they are wonderfully sharp now.

Excellent product. Easy to handle and always sharp. It is exactly what our kitchen was missing. They do not take as much counter space as I thought they would.

This is my first knife set - have been looking for a good quality one since I have taken over the cooking in my home. I love this set so far! Has a great weight and feel, very clean look, and knives are nice and sharp!

Received this set for Christmas and have been able to use each blade (except the shears). They are very well balanced, comfortable, and I look forward to keeping a sharp blade as time goes by. The block is very solid, and looks great on the counter.

Bought this set for ourselves, we liked it so much we also bought for our daughter. Definitely recommend

Like them but, wish we had bought a bigger set. The only thing we are not happy about was how the block was glued together. There is a large gap between the two pieces and looks like a cheap set sitting on the counter. (I tried to add photos but couldn't add them here.)
