I absolutely love this knife! If it came in a 5.5- inch or 6-inch I would purchase them too. It is my favorite go to knife.

Love the way I can utilize the entire blade because the bolster doesn't interfere with the back of the blade. Great for chopping, mincing and dicing. The knife is very sturdy but at the same time lightweight. Thinking of getting the 5.5 ' one for smaller jobs.

I use my santoku as much as I use my chef knife; it can be used on meat, poulty and vegetables. The hollowed out grooves on the blade, called grantons, keep food from sticking to the blade. The handle is comfortable and is secure in my hand thanks to the sandblasted finish. Lightweight, sharp and durable!
