I'd forgotten how fun it is to cook when you have the right tools. These knives are great quality, as is the block. The self-sharpening feature makes them even easier to use.

Love it! It's perfectly sharp. I have seen knives that are overly sharp or blunt. But these are perfect. I had been looking knives like these from months and I'm glad I found the best.

Really nice knife set. Super sharp. You have to be careful, they are that sharp that is the know slips it will cut you. I was able to basically shave slices of tomatoes. My only “complaint” is that I wish there was a bread knife.

The chef's knife has a few small chips on the blades edge right out of the box. With the honing stone it will correct intime but would be nice if they were not there. I've had the set for 2 weeks and they work great all blades are sharp and cut nicely. The santoku knife had two small spots where the blade's edge rolled when placing it back in the holder, this was caused by the honing stone in the holder ( was loose on the right side). Just have to be carful do too the construction of the knives. Over all I am happy with the set hopefully they last me many years.

The corner of the block came with a pretty large chip. Sort of just ruins the look of something you keep right on your counter.
