great balance and sharp
I've always liked Henckels knives, so when I felt like I needed a new chef's knife, I went with a Henckels. I can't afford the really expensive chef's knives, but Henckels has knives for just about every budget. I especially like this one because it has the riveted handle. It seems properly weighted and feels good in my hand. VERY sharp!
Awesome knife! Great quality. Got it very quick, quick shipping. And for a great price, got it on sale. Can't believe this quality item for this price. Good deal, app easy to use, easy to order, got it in a few days.
I love using this knife, it has a great weight (not too heavy, but substantial enough) and makes chopping and mincing a breeze.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is really comfortable to use thanks to the little curve at the end of the knife, the weight balance is very balanced and it feels hefty and well made while using it, not slippery at all while cutting wet ingredients either. Out of the box the sharpness is pretty good! I haven't need to re-sharpen my knife after a whole day of cooking, which by my standards make this a winner, my only gripe is that it doesn't include a knife guard for easy storage, but that's somewhat expected given the price. All in all, I will be using this as my daily cooking knife.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we were sitting about in 2020 in the house I wanted to grow my skills as a house cook. I had only used a poorly sharpened chefs knife and felt poorly. Then I purchased this knife in trepidation, but that melted away with the first slice into a piece of raw chicken. Butter is cliche but completely accurate. I'm never going back to unitasking my knives again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am replacing a knife with no rivets that separated while using it, so I am happy to see the construction of this one. I learned a lesson the hard way. I am looking forward to trying it out. I will update when done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full tang, triple riveted, tapers near the heel of blade for good grip and dexterity while using the knife. While this knife does have good construction and quality, it doesn't notably stand out from
This is a nice introduction knife to the better knives world. It has a great weight so good balance in your hand and the handle is very comfortable, which is one of the most important aspects of buying a knife. These are sharp and will stay sharp with just a little care.
I forgot my kitchen knife when I went on vacation. I didn't want to spend a lot for a temporary replacement but did want something actually usable. The Henckels name has always been a symbol of quality at all levels. This knife is super sharp. The handle is very comfortable. Great for the price.
