Trusted brand and works great, hubby and teen love this brand. Zero color, just moisture.
this works very well it stays on my lips and makes them very moist.
We live in the desert so use the lip balm daily. My daughter introduced us to it. Three generations use it and love it. Protects lips from sun damage and also cracking Love the Shea Butter formula the best Hope you keep making that flavor long term
I was always a chapstick guy but since I use so many other Jack Black products, I decided to try this lip balm. It's great. It really gives me all day protection and it feels very good on my lips. The tube lasts a long time and I like this flavor as it is relatively mild.
The new ingredients taste and smell shocking. I just ordered a bunch and I can't use them they smell, and feel so bad on the lips. I'm also now tasting sunscreen with this new ingredient that never used to be in there called 'homosalate' not sure what it is but it's changed the whole product .
I really hate when companies do this, and don't say anything. This used to be my go to. This time the 3pk came in little boxes, which was different. I applied some and immediately noticed a scent that I do not like at all. Its not strong, but it's on my lips so it's directly below my nose and I hate the smell. I checked it next to an old one and yep! Its different. Pics attached for reference. I used to love this stuff. Cheap? No. But worth it! I have sent it to my friends so they could be hooked too! I'm so disappointed.
The new formulation is not good. It tastes different and not in a good way. The texture is off compared to the previous formulation. It's a no from me dawg. Now I have to find a new lip balm.
New formulation is terrible. I won't buy this anymore unless you change back to the original formula.
The new formula changed and ruined the best lip balm. Now it just smells and tastes like sunscreen. Might as well use one with a higher spf in that case. I'll have to return it an won't be buying again unless they fix it.
I started using Jack Black 25 spf Lip Balm in 2002. It was the best lip balm I had ever tried. My lips were always soft, wonderfully hydrated, and very kissable according to my husband. My kids grew up knowing which pocket of my purse my "lippie" was in and I had a tube in every room of the house. But the thing that was so great was that the Balm was so perfect I rarely had to use the Balm more than 3-4 times per day. I noticed the change in the Balm back around the pandemic, but I thought maybe it was just a supply chain issue. And during that time I retired from teaching theatre and semi-professional acting. But over the last couple years it has become a product that barely stays on my lips for more than 30 minutes. It melts into the corners of my mouth looking like I've got some kind of ugly growth. And the worst are the new flavors and changing the old ones. I am so disappointed. My favorite lippie is no longer Jack Black. Too bad the new owners felt the need to change what already worked.
