We have found this product,(For a prepackaged item), .. to surprisingly mirror, that taste i got as a child, ... from the Old Black man, who had his entire operation, ... mainstreamed,(for the 70's that is), on a manageable scale, ... right in his back yard, across the street! You can't beat it for a quick solution, thats as good as, the laborious way! Or, as close as you're going to get,!, imo,
This is how we do JD BBQ Quick and Easy Williams' BBQ Sliders Preheat oven to 400. Heat BBQ as directed. Slice large bag of Hawaiian Rolls length wise. Put bottom in a lined pan. Add heated BBQ. Add Pepper Jack Cheese(or cheese of your choice). Add roll top. Mix 1/2 stick melted unsalted butter with 1/2 tsp Poppy Seeds, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Brush on top of rolls. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove and let cool for 3-5 minutes. Serve with fries, favorite chips or mixed veggies, or a salad. Serve and enjoy this delicious meal.
Great sweet tasting sauce, not my view of traditional BBQ sauce, but it's the best of any comparable chicken. It's easy to prepare, makes for a great meal, either on bread/buns or as part of a mashed potatoes and vegetable of your choice meal for a real sit down dinner.
Comes sealed in a bag inside a plastic tray. I take out of the bag to heat it up, otherwise cooking in the bag makes it too hot and messy to serve out. It heats nicely in the tray it comes in and can just be spooned out after heating. Taste is very good and pork is in nice shredded pieces. Enough for three people to have a couple servings each in a hamburger bun.
Now hear this …If you're like myself and many other family meal makers, make or female, experienced or working on it, you're frequently thinking “What's for dinner that can be served pretty quick?”. Or, “Is it dinner time already!!!” JACK DANIEL'S SEASONED PULLED PORK has your back on this one and along with some sides like a green salad, already prepared potato salad or canned baked beans a hot meal can be on the table ready to eat in less than an hour. From personal experience my best advice is to buy the 24 oz. size to have as your “emergency” meal. To save space in the freezer I remove the vacuum pack from the packaging and freeze it. *Be sure to take a photo of the cooking instructions. When the “what's for dinner” day arrives, take the frozen packet out, empty the luscious contents into an oven-safe dish like Pyrex brand, cover with plastic wrap and follow the directions for microwaving. Even better if you know in the morning you want JACK DANIEL'S SEASONED PULLED PORK for dinner, move the frozen packet from the freezer to the frig to let it thaw. Recommended sides are potato salad (homemade or other), baked potatoes, slaw (again homemade or other) or a green salad, baked beans, slider buns and fresh fruit.
Jack Daniel's Seasoned Pulled Pork is amazing! It's fully cooked and ready to heat, which makes meal prep super easy. The flavor is rich, smoky, and perfectly seasoned — you can really taste the Jack Daniel's glaze. It's tender, juicy, and works great on sandwiches, tacos, or just on its own. A convenient, tasty option that I'll definitely buy again!
I took this BBQ brisket to my small group gathering along with slider buns, potato salad, coleslaw, cheese and BBQ sauce - all from Walmart. It was all so good and well received. I heated the brisket in the microwave according to package directions and then placed it in a crockpot on warm. Thank you Walmart🤗
Great flavor, easy to make, and overall, I'd recommend this pulled pork for a meal option. Quick %26 easy to nuke %26 eat. We often pair with a ready-made macaroni and cheese or mashed potatoes option from the refrigerator section. Add a side veggie %26 you've got a simple but tasty meal. My only complaint is that sometimes you'll get a bunch of just fat mixed into it all. There's nothing more disgusting than biting into a big hunk of fat on a sandwich or over your side dish. Some packs seem to have a substantial amount of fatty chunks while others are more acceptable. There's no way of knowing if you got a pack with lots of fat or not, but that's just how it goes. This is definitely a regular staple in our house for a quick and easy meal. It's a decent value considering the cost of meat nowadays. We love Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce flavor, so it's perfect. I highly recommend it for a nice, easy family dinner option or even to buy a couple containers %26 heat up in the crockpot for a picnic.
The Jack Daniel's Seasoned Pulled Pork is clearly a quality product. The meat itself is tender, well-cooked, and heats up easily, making it a convenient option for a quick meal or sandwiches. The portion size is solid and the texture of the pork is exactly what you'd expect from pulled pork. That said, the flavor wasn't really for me. The seasoning came across very teriyaki-like, which wasn't what I was expecting from something branded as barbecue. It's not bad quality at all — just a flavor profile that leans much sweeter and more soy-forward than traditional BBQ. If you enjoy a sweeter, almost teriyaki-style sauce you might really like it, but if you're expecting a classic smoky barbecue taste, it may not hit the mark.
If you want your pulled pork to taste like candy, you'll like this product. I couldn't eat it because of the sickeningly sweet smell and taste. There are five servings with 58% daily value of sugar in each serving. I don't eat sugar, so my dinner was ruined. I wish I had looked at the nutritional information before buying this.
