Jack Daniel’s Sweet & Spicy Pulled Pork, Refrigerated Entree, 16 oz

This pulled pork was surprisingly tasty and easy to heat the first time I tried it. So, it has become a regular part of my monthly grocery purchases. As an older woman who lives alone, I often have neither the patience nor motivation to cook complex meals. Instead, I go for quick and easy. But I will never compromise on flavor. One of my go-to recipes now is to place a container of this (thawed) pulled pork and a package of frozen peas and carrots on top of cooked rice in my rice cooker, and let it sit for 15 - 20 minutes on the "keep warm" setting. Then, I just stir it all up together and add a dahs of soy and a bit of teriyaki sauce. And, voila! Easy and very tasty pork fried rice substitute. You're welcome. :)

This is as close to BBQ than if you're going thru the processes yourself. Taste authentic, very meaty, low sodium, lots of sauce, quick preparation, and not lacking for much, except a sidekick. The pricing is a bit higher than i would like, but I highly recommend you try it.

Great taste and easy and quick to make! Ever since I tried this a few years back I have enjoyed it once I realized Walmart carried it. I use to purchase it in Florida not realizing it was available here. If you never tried it give it a chance and you will also probably be a fan of it.

This new flavor is FIRE. The original flavor has gone downhill, but this one... makes up for it BIG time. Sweet but smoky and very little fatty pieces. Makes about 4 sandwiches if you stack em up. Topped with brisket is mouth watering. Buy it, you won't regret it.

The taste and texture is great and seems like home-cooked. I rated a for instead of five because it is pricey, the portion seems smaller than before, and the prep is messy. When you make vent slices and then heated in the microwave, it cooks beautifully, but the sauce fills out through the vent holes and it's very hot to handle to cut the plastic to remove the meal into a serving dish. Sauce gets everywhere. Next time I will remove the pulled pork into a microwave safe dish with a lid and then cook it. You cannot beat the flavor and freshness of this particular pulled pork. I will look to buy it on sale. Good on any type of bun.

All to often, the meat is in a few large and hard lumps. I have to take a knife and fork and speperate it into the required pieces. I then add a little more sauce of my own and, after a short micro wave run, it's good to go and pretty tasty. Worth the effort

I purchased this as part of an order for pickup. When I got home and started to prepare it I saw that it expired a week ago. I had no other dinner plans and heated and ate it that night anyways. No one got sick but unacceptable to pay full price for expired meat. Do better Walmart when fulfilling pickup orders. It's unacceptable to sell old meat without the consumer being warned.

I really wanted a BBQ sandwich and didn't have time to make it, so I bought this Jack Daniel's Sweet and Spicy already prepared entree. It was easy to prepare in the microwave, a little messy but okay. However, the taste was not that great, too sweet and no spice. I like my BBQ with a little sweet and a lot of spice. This is not that. Plus, too much tough gristle and inedible meat mixed in with it. It is definitely not worth the price and I will not buy it again. I was very disappointed in this BBQ meat.

Item was not great tasting. I was very disappointed since it was more expensive than what I usually buy. Thought I would try something different. Won't make that mistake again. Save your money and buy something other than this item! Wish Walmart would stock Corkeys barbecue. How about it Walmart?!
