IMO, this is the best canned chili, at least as far as the ones I've tried over the years. I like that the beef isn't ground to dust and that not every bite of beef is exactly the same size and shape as every other bite. Makes it FEEL more homemade. The taste surprised me; I never ate canned chili as a bowl of chili, just used it for stuff like making a chili pie or a chili dog. This brand could conceivably change my mind on that. I never buy it with beans because I don't like pinto beans and most companies use those. Another use for this, I found by accident. I was making my own chili and realized that I was a bit short of the volume I wanted, so I threw in a can of this to make up the shortfall; it was GREAT. In summation, if you like Wolf or store brand chili, think it's great, then this may not be for you. If you like something more reminiscent of homemade, this is the one for you.

I bought this item not knowing what it's like, I have tried it and I was surprised and I absolutely loved it, it simply is the perfect item to buy and I would totally recommend this item to anyone

I really liked the strong hickory taste, and it would be good on a BBQ hot dog because it's mostly sauce with tiny meat bits. But I had it by itself, and there weren't many chunks of meat or beans. The few small chunks of meat were good; I just wish there had been more, especially for the price of it. It's also pretty salty (940 mg. per can), but I did like that hickory flavor.

Don't get me wrong I love Jack Link's Orginal Chili with Beans. But this with no Beans is crazy fatty. 3 times the fat than the one with Beans. If I would have noticed that. I would have never ever bought it. That is way to much fat to a cup of Chili. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM. Can't understand why so much fat.

Mild flavor, runny after heating, grainy texture. I used this to make chili burgers with sliced tomatoe, but was a bit disappointed in how little flavor it has, and it dripped all over the plate. The taste is ok, but I will try a different brand. Has a lot of sodium and trans fat, so is not a healthy product, even with the protein amount.

Too expensive for the quality. It was impossible to find any large pieces of meat. It was just kind of watery and basic, like all the meat got shredded into nothing. I liked the green peppers and overall seasoning, and the slight hint of spicyness, but overall the texture is just too thin. Needs more beans and meat.

I tried this because it was on sale. Seeing the label and seeing actual chunks, i thought wow, that must explain the higher protein levels versus other canned chili's with no beans that I'm used to. I got exactly 2 chunks in the entire can, the rest was almost grainy and very greasy. I'll stick to Great Value Chili with No Beans in the future. There's actually clumps of actualy beef. like an entire hamburger worth of beef in a can of Great Value Chili with no Beans versus 2 chunks and isolated soy protein.

You think Jack Links and you think beef and jerky that might make a nice chilli but... what you end up with is soup, it is just a brown watery mess with red blood like grease running through it and absolutely zero pieces of meat in it while the can claims 40 g of protein? was truly suprised and disappointed. 😞

This may be the worst canned chili on the market. TONS of grease, meat was ground so small you couldn't really get any texture. Flavor is weird as well, tiny bit sweet, but no real chili flavor. Bland, bland, bland.
