These are one of the best value frozen pizzas you can buy. The cheese is real, and melts like real cheese, and the toppings actually taste like real meat and not processed meat products like most frozen food products. I love the crispy crust on these, as they are like a cracker and crunch.
Love love love these medium size pizzas. It's got a thin crispy crust, a good amount of pepperoni or other ingredient toppings. probably has more topping ingredient on these pizzas than Domino's does. the sauce is sufficient , not overly done and has a great taste. With 3 of these pizzas in one box for less than ten dollars it's a wonderful and affordable snack for when the kids come home from school after play, etc...
Jack's pepperoni and cheese pizza is FANTASTIC! They are only about $3.32 apiece, they taste GREAT and are in my freezer when I want pizza, and I can pop them in the oven, and by the time I set the table and get our drinks, they are ready for me to eat. NO tipping, NO driving to get the pizza, NO hassle! What is there not to love?!?!?
I get this pizza for a convenience. I cook it in the air fryer oven. My husband is happy the crust isn't hard “like cardboard”. That's easiest way. The best tasting way is preheat the large oven. Preheat a cast iron skillet at the same time. At times I take the pepperonis off and chop fine. I take bits of ham, chicken , hamburger or leftover broccoli , peppers, onion, mushrooms or tomato bits or olive slices-whatever small scraps of leftovers that sound good to add. And add back the pepperoni back. Or you can leave it unadorned. Next take the pizza and roll it like a jelly roll. Use a serrated knife and cur 10-12 slices. Take the hot skillet from the preheated oven and add the slices. If there is a bit of bacon grease in the bottom from breakfast- that's OK. You nestle the loose ends along the side of the skillet to keep it rolled. Add the other slices. If you have extra cheese you can add it to the rolls if it looks like it needs extra. Put skillet in oven and bake until it's done. The bottom will be brown and crispy. The cheese will be melted and the crust will be golden brown. It will smell wonderful. Just be careful not to overstuff your pizza rolls and lose the fillings. A spatula helps to support moving the rolls into the skillet w extra add ins intact and removing the finished hot ones from the skillet. They are hot so let it cool some. You don't want to burn your tongue or the roof of your mouth. Enjoy! If you have leftovers they will reheat in the microwave or toaster oven. Just watch the timing so you don't make them too hard or burn them. It would be nice to serve with a green salad , maybe steamed broccoli or corn. The pizza spins can also be used as an appetizers. With us, it's the main course.
I love these pizzas! Following the package directions, the crust can get crunchy, but that's okay! I like a cheesy pizza, so I add extra mozzarella, and sometimes, provolone for a gooey, restaurant feel. I also load on some frozen onions and bell peppers. I also experiment with baking time and temperature. I have made these on a grill, and they turn out great. Add a new dimension of flavor to your grill by adding some hickory chips!
I'm sure it's a matter of personal preference, but I find Jack's the perfect blend of crust, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Some frozen pizzas don't seem to have a good amount of sauce or the sauce dries up into the crust or something when it bakes, but Jack's sauce comes out perfect. I will say, I prefer the three-pack rather than the individual ones, because I've noticed with the individual ones, they don't always bake up as perfect. All I can figure is that it has something to do with the paper image they have to put on the top of the individual ones.
This is the only frozen pizza my son will ask for over and over again. It doesn't look like anything special, but it must be! It always looks pretty tasty once it's baked. He's a picky eater too.
My family loves these Jack's pizza's, the only problem is catching them in stock. I got a box not to long ago, and it just seemed disappointing, a big chunk was missing from the pizza and the other 2 in the box barely had anything on it. Not Wal-Marts fault, check that quality control please Jack's.
These are really good pizzas. Like they taste good and everything! Now, the only reason I'm giving them a 4 star is because as for 3 packs there's only 1 kind, pepperoni. My only problem is that I can't eat pepperoni so it makes it hard for me to want to buy the pizza but it's a WAY BETTER VALUE leaving me to pick off all the pepperonis, which isn't fun. This is why I wish that they made different options in the three pack. They need to think about other people, their dietary needs, and how what flavors they would like! So basically that's the only reason I gave them a 4 star!
I really like Jacks pizza to have in the freezer, so I thought a three pack would be a good idea. NOT good at all the pizzas had all the sauce and toppings slid over to one side like someone had set the box on an end and the frozen pizzas melt. Or possibly they were factory seconds that they decided to hide in a box.
