Jackson Galaxy Motor Mouse Catnip Toy Grey, Green

Bought this today and gently pulled the string to make it go but it just got stuck and stayed all the way pulled out. I tried to tug it slightly to see if it would recoil and go back inside the mouse but it just came out completely. :-( I gave it 2 stars because my cat still likes the mouse part but I had hoped to try out the "motor" part of the toy. At least once...

I am had high expectations given that Jackson has his name on it. The motor function is activated by pulling the tail but when you pull the tail it immediately retracts and starts moving, leaving little time to place it where my cats can hunt for it. Very poor design and misleading description.

I bought this toy two weeks ago and in that time at some point my cat tore the nose off of this toy and ate it. It ended up getting stuck in her intestines and needed to be surgically removed. There's no warning what so ever on the packaging about supervising play or watching for detached parts.

Perhaps the one I received is defective, but (1) a gentle tug on the tail results in only 1 or 2 vibrations (lasting about 1 second); (2) There is no “Unpredictable movement” UNLESS you pull the tail, and (3) Pulling the tail all the way out causes the mouse to vibrate for only 5 seconds. The ‘motion' is of zero interest to my cats. I would LOVE to hear that I'm missing something.

This cat toy is rubbish,it says and I quote “pull the tail for classic cat and mouse chase”,the toy doesn't go anywhere,pull the tail,and nothing,no chase,as the tail retracts so quickly that I can't even place it on the floor before it stops Waste of money,don't buy
