Very satisfied
Bought this sewing machine to have something dependable but lighter to travel with. I really like it, more than I thought I might. Hopefully since it is mechanical I will get good use from it over time.

Great machine
Got this as a starter machine and I am super happy with it. I didn't want a bunch of plastic that wouldn't last or electronics I might struggle with. Eventually I will upgrade and my girls can learn on this machine but it currently does everything I need it for.

i was torn between a new Singer, but I'm so glad I bought Janome. i was counting on my Singer 44s heavy duty lasting my lifetime, it didn't only 6 years.

Machine is solid and with metal bobbin. Sewrf thru 3 thick layers of backpack material.

On the fence
I'm still on the fence about this machine. I want to love it but so many unanswered questions. Like how do you clean it? Does it needed to be oiled. Will an authorized Janome sealed service it since it's not for sale on Janome web sites. How do you change the light bulb since I can't open the side panel. Like I said. Lots of unanswered questions.
